1) He could order the military to invade Canada or Mexico.
2) He could toss the nuclear football at Iran, China, Venezuela, or a "shithole country".
3) He could pardon the seditionists.
4) He could pardon his family.
5) He could pardon Edward Snowden.
6) He could issue other crazy blanked pardons.
7) He could issue other crazy executive orders.
8) He could give the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Alex Jones.
9) If he's not impeached and found guilty, he could run for federal office again.

I completely agree this hypocrisy Is everywhere. Hell look @ Lindsay Graham. In 2016 he couldn’t stand tRumps guts. Then he was a staunch supporter. Then on Wednesday he said enough is enough. Then on Thursday on Fox he said the opposite again. He’s flipping like a fish out of water - & not the only one.

I agree 100% which goes back to my point about how far we as a society have fallen.

On a side note, several news media sources are say thing that something bigger is coming before the 20th. This is a very troubling time in history and I pray for peace and I applaud twitter’s decision to ban Trump. However, I don’t think this will end on the 20th.

Wow some people... inbred to rant for a moment. Neighbor a few doors down is a bit of an extremist liberal and I have been able to tolerate his hate rhetoric... until today.

He posted a picture of the thin-blue-line American Flag where the line was falling all and a Nazi flag was under it.

I get it, people are rightfully outraged regarding the Capitol Riots. But to make blanket accusations that Police are Nazis is where I draw the line. That hate rhetoric spreads and it is what puts our law enforcement in jeopardy. I know several local police chiefs that have they thin blue line flag in their office, and they are good people with a desire to protect everyone.

I called him out on it.

I don't like the thin blue line flag. I see it as a bastardization of the American flag. I don't condemn the people who put it on their car or whatever, I just don't like it. For some people it also comes off supporting law enforcement - good, but putting down the BLM movement - bad.

Our Arizona horn wearing guy is a "failed actor" and lives at home with his mom at age 33. WINNER!

My latest outrage at the AZ GOP...they want to censure Cindy McCain because she dared to criticize the pres. The article starts out with condemning her drug addiction problems (prescription drugs) from 1992 and ends with saying she defended her husband and the pres was right in his criticism because John McCain's military record is not as good as we all think. The AZ GOP has lost its way.

With the thin blue line flag, there have been a couple of people in this board who posted on FB that it "never met pro-police, in the first place, it literally meant anti-black" which I find to be complete BS and said as much on their Facebook pages (in a polite way). I agree the actions of these individuals is wrong, but to assign blame to any of these flags because they have warped the meaning for nefarious purposes is also wrong. What if one of them showed up with a Pride Flag. Would that make that movement wrong? Of course not.

In regards to the AZ GOP, I would venture to say that the issues go well beyond Arizona. That is why I switch from R to I years ago.

It sounds like the police requested National Guard troops several times before the riots, but the request was denied by both the Sargent at Arms, Paul Irving. Furthermore it sounds like the Mayor of DC, Muriel Bowser also wanted a light police presence as well.

A neighbor also posted on her FB page a link from Michael Moore (whom I can not stand) that included a flyer. Apparently they are calling for protests not only in DC, but all State Capitols for sometime this weekend. Personally, I am going to stay well away for a while.

The idea of advertising a candidate through a flag was just wrong to me, but it has escalated from advertising flag to an idea and people wrap themselves in that idea. Sadly that idea represents all that is bad with the world. I know I'm exaggerating, but by how much. It's been embraced by white supremacists. Do I need to add more? I'm 90% sure the guy around the corner from my house isn't a nazi, but having that flag (now taken down) makes you look bad. People should think before raising up a flag if they truly support it and all it stands for.

We're not a state capital, but we are a site of a major historical right wing riot that is brought up a lot (like, someone was killed right outside our office and our outside wall is pretty much always covered in chalk messages of remembrance). I don't really want to go into the office at all next week.

Distinguishing reality from fiction has become a fools errand. There's a picture floating around of the Nashville bombing, with a CNN news ticker saying "NASHVILLE BOMBER DIED FROM COVID," and I have overheard several people parrot the satirical image thinking that it was a true image. No one even bothers to check to see what's true anymore.

Yep, no writing fake reviews on a business just because you hate their politics. In this case understand that you don't even know who owns the business. I had a similar problem with a dog kennel project where people from other states were writing to complain about the business. I made sure to highlight where the person came from.

Guy on the left was a local who was arrested Monday for violating a bond agreement by leaving the state without permission. He had been arrested last year on charges of trafficking LSD and pot. He's very upset that people are saying he's antifa.

Alabama was "well" represented in the event. We are not sending our best (rioters or representatives) to DC.
 
I'm at the office today and have several meetings. There's no TV in my department, and I can't stream because of screen sharing/bandwidth.

So my blood pressure is fine because I can't see what the idiots in DC are doing.
