NEVERENDING ♾️ The NEVERENDING Gas Price Thread

I think its $3.60 something here. Don't pay that much attention though. I only have a car sharing account and don't pay for gas myself.

Yeah, I paid $2.98 this morning in SC but that's more expensive than it has been. Paid $2.78 a couple weeks ago.

$3.15 cash, $3.25 credit this morning...but I didn't have to get out of the car in the wind driven rain to pump it myself :D

3.07 yesterday when I filled up.
3.04 today when I've got a nearly full tank.

Bastards!

Price on 5th Jan = $3.329
Price on 6th Jan = $3.499
WHY!?!?!??!?!?!? 17 cent increase a gallon in a day - WFT?!?!!?!?!

We jumped to $3.69 yesterday which was a $0.26 jump. I am sure that Iran is a good reason to gauge again... :r:

$3.62. I guess They said we should expect $5/gal gas prices in the next few weeks. Why? Just cuz.

In the Fox Valley, most of the places I've seen have been around $3.69. Luckily, I filled up on Sunday for $3.34. But I'm probably going to have to fill up again soon and I'm not looking forward to it.

Wow! We're at $3.15 here on average. I check in on a cheap gas finder website to locate the best deals. In the past 36 hours prices vary from $3.10 to $3.20.

Sorry for you all...

Last week I filled my rugged Toyota Tundra for $3.49/gallon. Same station on Friday is now at $3.59. Here in the Toledo area the price varies from $3.39 to $3.89.

Memory Bank: Cruising from Toledo to Birmingham, MI, circa 1966, to see GF. Filled-up my 1959 DeSoto for $.19.9/gallon. 'Dem were 'da days! :)

EDIT: Telegraph Road, Taylor, MI, station.

So this morning I pull into my usual gas stop around 7:25 am. The sign says $3.699, which it has been all week.

While I'm filling up the truck, I'm looking around and turn to the sign and the lighted price goes dark and then comes back on with a new price - now $3.809. I look back over at the pump and it still shows $3.699 (which was a relief). When I finish, I put the nozzle back in the pump. All the prices update and it now reads $3.809.

Hey at least they didn't stick it to me while I was pumping! I thought for a second I'd get hit with an 11 cent upcharge in mid-pump.

Fat Cat

I just paid $3.819 in a Detroit suburb. One of our local TV stations (this morning) said gas was going to go down and NPR said it was going to go up:)
I guess that pretty much sums up the reality of it all;):r::D

$3.99/gallon for 87 octane at the cheap station near my office, though the credit/debit price is $4.09. There's a BP station near my apartment that is charging $4.39/gallon, however. Believe it or not, I'm still seeing cars fuel up there despite the 30 cent hike over everywhere else.

Pulled in to one of my usual low price stations this morning and the sign said $3.75. The actual pump price was $3.69. Felt like I was stealing. Felt good.

I just drove by the same station that I paid $3.819 earlier today and it is now $3.999. :-c
Hummm:not:

Up another 6 cents this morning to $3.869. Good thing I filled up Wednesday night.

3.379 in Kentucky May 27
3.479 in Indiana June 6

According to gas buddy, its still going up around here even though it oil has had a sharp decline over the last week. I think the owners are gouging us!

$3.24 this a.m. Down about 70 cents/gallon from a month or two ago
