NEVERENDING ♾️ The NEVERENDING Gas Price Thread

Damn. Still in the $3.60-$3.80 range around here. All the talk of prices under $3 ... it's as if the prices just aren't falling from their peak around here.

Still in the $3.60 range this weekend. Prices just aren't dropping here. We're in about the same price range as Buffalo, which usually has the highest gas prices in the state.

I wonder if lack of competition has anything to do with it. There just aren't many gas stations around here. Syracuse and Binghamton are in the $3.40-$3.50 range.

still 4 a gallon here on the far north coast of Cali. Lowest I saw this weekend was 3.99, but most were 4.09

I was almost going to post this morning that we filled up for around $3.30 here in the Mitten. Good thing I didn't. On my way home for lunch it was at $3.59 :-|

20 cent/gal. price jump since yesterday. $3.44 as of this a.m.

It was $3.29 over the weekend at a few places in PHX. Better than a few months ago when it was hovering right around $4 a gallon.

Fat Cat

I paid $3.759 today and then watched the news talking about EXXON having records profits:not:

$3.39 yesterday at the cheap station....$3.29 last week.

Gas has gone up about thirty cents in a week. Right now it is in the $3.60 range. We're being told it has to do with a refinery explosion in Toledo. The largest refinery here has tripled its capacity lately. It It took out an entire neighborhood to do so. Now it wants to shut federal aid roads. We were told that if that happened price spikes would go down. Yeah right.

Up again this morning to $3.77 - that's an eight cent raise since yesterday.

Can the gas pump be declared an assualt weapons now?

Now that I live in Southern California, I appreciate posts like this, much much more :r::-|

Still $4+ /gal

Context Bro.. Next to San Francisco Proper, i live in the region where we typically have the highest gas prices in the entire state. $4.40 to fill up. Lame.

Paid $3.15 at Costco yesterday. Yeah, I sat in line for 10 minutes but it was better than paying $3.39.

$3.26 in Ohio.

Cheaper than that in Toledo. Expect it to go even lower. The futures market is now showing another big drop today ($3 per barrel). Gold is dropping like a stone too. Looks like the dollar is getting stronger finally.

In the Obama economy? Never! ;)

I paid $3.26 at lunchtime today. You guys must have the good stuff on that side of the state!

Edit:
Looking back at my gas purchase spreadsheet, this is the lowest I've paid since it was $3.19 a gallon on January 24th of this year. I haven't had two consecutive fill-ups this low since December 2011... we'll see if I can get two this time around.

$3.50 or so in AZ. Has anyone else notioned that more and more gas stations are charigng two prices; one for cash and a higher price if you pay with a debit or credit card?
