Maister's dog link reminded me that the wife and kids want a second dog (puppy).
Some doodles have straight hair.Maister's dog link reminded me that the wife and kids want a second dog (puppy). Just for giggles I checked several shelters around here and it looks like every dog is a pit mix of some type or a really little dog. (We don't want a little dog).
Part of me wants a doodle mix because of the allergy in our house, but I have mixed feelings knowing the amount of work their coats need and I am not a fan of the curly hair look. Our current dog is a lab mix and is phenominal and loves other dogs. My sister has a golden that is a wonderful dog, but they have spent a fortune dealing with health issues.
If there is not a Waffle House across the street, I'm not going.
I usually avoid the cart so I can get around all the people waiting in line for samples. Also I am required to take my daughter who likes to try each sample. When I go to Costco, I do not take a cart into the warehouse. People say that it's so that I can't buy much since I have to carry everything. That is a neat side effect, but that's not the main reason.
I think my wife is the same way. She missed out on a lot when the girls were growing up and I feel like that's part of the reason we've continued to be so generous with them financially now even though they're 22 and 19.My middle was visiting for doctor appointments and I took some personal time this morning and spoiled her with breakfast and shopping - I feel like I treat my now adult kids like grandchildren, spoiling them in a way I did not do when they were growing up - that, or I have unchecked working mom guilt that is coming out now they are adults
Bingo!! No cart=easy to get around.I usually avoid the cart so I can get around all the people waiting in line for samples. Also I am required to take my daughter who likes to try each sample.

I have a general policy of not commenting on anything the city is doing, with the exception of occasionally "liking" that there is a parade coming or the like. And, when I appear in local media, I always make sure the host disclaims that I am there as a private citizen who happens to work for the city, and I am not speaking on behalf of the city in any way, shape, or form.As a city employee, we are not permitted to comment on facebook posts about the city - whether positive or negative. This morning, a downtown business posted that the big downtown project has killed 5 businesses and they might be next if business doesn't pick up. I went to her store and comforted her about the post in person and noted that her 5 examples did not close because of the project; one closed before project started, one was closing due to ownership retirement, one closed of internal issues (as they had posted previously) and the last 2 weren't even in the project area. The retailer said she did it that way to encourage more business, not as a negative.
I let admin know the situation and they agreed it was complete misinformation, but they will not post a correction statement. Just very frustrating that something like that is not corrected - but hey I guess that what's social media is for, spewing misinformation.
You must move closer to where they live. Come to Arizona where 8 have been spotted since the '90s. Where in Arizona? I won't tell you that because the jaguars and I have a deal to let them hunt in secret.Jaguars are soooooooooo cute! Too bad they are dangerous apex predators.

If you resort to tattling get a sale, you're in the wrong business. If you are doing cold sales emails and I don't respond, don't try to guilt me in not responding to your emails (especially in the subject line or worse, one called a Councilor once wtf) - I am not obligated to respond to sales emails, that's bat$#%^ crazy
Have you seen the pictures from Blatten Switzerland where the glacier collapsed & buried 90% of the town? The before & after pictures are stunning.
Idk about relocating to the SW, the Bobcats & Pumas here in Buffalo need me to help protect their hunting groundsYou must move closer to where they live. also, I was wondering on my way in to work today, if Ai is an assemblage of information readily available on the internet at that moment, and then, let's say we all start using AI and not do original research, for example, doesn't that stagnate research to the point in time that the person started Ai? Doesn't someone need to keep thinking new stuff up or doing more research/science? I feel like this is a stupid question but asking it anyway lol
I don't think it's a stupid question. It's the most important question. If we become less educated, it seems like AI will be -necessarily - less educated, right? We are our own echo chamber. If we count on AI to innovate, that will be a mistake I bet.also, I was wondering on my way in to work today, if Ai is an assemblage of information readily available on the internet at that moment, and then, let's say we all start using AI and not do original research, for example, doesn't that stagnate research to the point in time that the person started Ai? So no more "Taylor's Versions?"Taylor Swift has done it. She finally owns all the rights to everything she's ever created. I'm a proud Swiftie I'm so happy for her.

I think she'll eventually release the Taylor Versions of Debut and Reputation. In her letter she says she's already rerecorded Debut and is about a quarter of the way with Reputation. It sounds like she just isn't liking how Reputation TV is sounding and is struggling with it.So no more "Taylor's Versions?"
(I am a closet Swiftie myself, but lately I've been all about Chappell Roan, who I am on record as saying is going to be as big in five years as Taylor Swift is now.)
WE HEARD YOU LIKE JAGUARS
Since this is top of the current page, I always see it when I go to this thread until new page is added. I have no idea what/where it is from but it always plays in my head with and English accent.
I recently came across a copy I saved of USAToday with my ex-Father-in-Law (former NFL Line Judge) on the front page, being chewed out by Bill Cowher. I kept it because the first time my son saw it, he asked "Why is daddy yelling at grandpa?" (Cowher and I both wear goatees and ball caps - that's about the extent of a resemblance, I think). Still makes me chuckle a little bit ...While going through an old box in my office in preparation for carpet cleaning, I found a USA Today sports section from 2018.
No idea why I'm keeping it, except maybe for scores from seven years ago.

(Side note: does anyone actually read USA Today? It stopped being a decent paper over a decade ago.)
