It's Phoenix. I'm driving around in a convertible today with the top down and nothing more than a long sleeve shirt and maybe pants.

Funny you should ask. I've got a...bitchin' Mustang. I know. Big let down. My daughter does want a Camero which to me is a bigger let down, but she wants it for the right reasons. Because I would drive it up from the Bahamas.
 
I need to go to Home Depot tomorrow to get some wire connectors. I am putting up LED shop lights in the garage.

I just have to say that the number of people who call in with zoning and building and code enforcement questions at FIVE O' CLOCK on NEW YEAR'S EVE never ceases to amaze me. I just got off the phone. Good Lord people, eat some dip, get drunk, leer at a neighbor - I don't care. Just don't call me anymore. I got a half hour to go. Bet I take 10 calls. Jeebus.

I really like a good French Onion dip, but I also enjoy Dill. I'm feeling the Dill tonight, I think.
 
Phone's ringing! Unbelievable! NO! Just NO!! I have to answer. And then run to catch a bus. Lates! :)
 
I went full on vegetarian in 2024. Make my own bean burgers now. Use a lot of chickpeas and black beans on things, but still eat eggs and cheese. Namely cottage cheese and cream cheese and cheese on pizzas.
 
Watching Rick Steves Europe episode on Venice. They showed examples where the first floors were several feet underwater because of climate change and the city sinking.
 
It's time to practice mandolin. I don't want to practice, so I promised myself dessert after I practice. There's no one here to hold me accountable and I'm struggling with having dessert now and probably telling myself I'm too tired to practice.
 
My step brother is proposing to his GF tonight. That means we need to go up north… (by a lot) for a wedding. I just hope it is not my anniversary weekend. I want to take the wife to NOLA since it is on her bucket list.
 
The youngest cat in my house is usually referred to as “the kitten” even when they no longer are an actual kitten. Our kitten is scared of his shadow.
 
My neighbor’s house was just listed for sale this morning. I think the asking price is about right. We’ll see what happens.
 
All my life, my sense of smell has been pretty weak. For some reason, this Xmas tre has been really fragrant for the last few days. Very weird …

New Orleans is lots of fun! People either love it or hate it.
 
New Year’s Eve in 1975, I had a pretty serious flu bug. I think my temp actually got to 104’ for a while. I recall having some vivid visions

Sometimes I wonder if I made the right decision with the job I took. I enjoy it, but I wonder if I would have liked the other city that made an offer better.
 
The process has been the antithesis of what I aspire to, but the goal is in reach. Conundrum Maximus
