Thin Mints are so much better when they are frozen, though.and they typically have product on hand so you don't have to wait. It's hard to say no to thin mints when I can pay for them and be eating them seconds later. If I have to wait for them, I can say no because I don't know if I'll be in the mood for thin mints at a later date. Which that's a lie because I can always down a box of thin mints, but I can convince myself it isn't at the time.

Mint and stout seem as natural a combo as chocolate and stout. Be more adventurous with your alcohol choices.I might add some crushed Thin Mints with Bailey's but positively not with stout. Uh-uh, nope.

They've always been very proud they have a PSDThis month ourDowntown Development AgencyPrincipal Shopping Districtis hosting a contest among 17 different restaurants in town to see who can make the best burger. I'll probably pass on the $42 surf & turf burger
but I can see myself getting nice and fat this month while I try as many as possible. The newspaper has the different offerings listed online and some of them do sound pretty good.
I had one yesterday at my normal Tuesday lunch spot and it was delicious.
It all depends. Three thin mints are good. Half a sleeve of then mints start to get medicinal. I'd definitely try it. I'm not a fan of the peanut butter stouts or the pb and j stouts.Mint and stout seem as natural a combo as chocolate and stout. Be more adventurous with your alcohol choices.

Balance is of course a key consideration. In fact, it's one of the reasons I'm reluctant to buy cherry stouts. Sometimes, you can't even taste the cherry and other times it's almost cough syrup...and that's from the same brewery over several years. It all depends. Three thin mints are good. That icky virus is going around here. I'm glad you're recovering.Hey I'm back - had a good ICMA conference, then went to Fallingwater and Kentucky Knob and the Frick estate, then I got wicked sick, not COVID but wow, knocked me down - I just back at work today - worked from home Monday and Tuesday barely and went to our Muni Association conference yesterday only because I had to speak
firing at about 60%
got to see @kms and @MD Planner but missed @zman
still have a bum knee, now they think I need an MRI
don't get old, kidz!
LP-
My cousin and her daughter are in Bar Harbor this week.
She's a retired nurse and daughter is a newly minted PA.
Do you need them to stop by the house and take a look at your knee?
I told them to get a drink at the Thirsty Whale.
So, how much disruption do you think will be caused by the port strike? What products do you think will be hard to get?
Things that must be shipped internationally. So, how much disruption do you think will be caused by the port strike? What products do you think will be hard to get?
Maybe, but the US produces, I believe, a vast majority of the sugar we use/need in the domestic sugar beet and sugar cane processing industries and will be shipped domestically by truck/train.I heard sugar
Also...stock up on Olive oil right now.Things that must be shipped internationally.
Corn oil? nope
motor oil? nope
Pirelli Tires? yep
Pilsner Urquell? yep
I have no idea why people are stocking up on TP again. TP is not imported . . .I heard sugar
Never mind; the strike is over.So sad, I won't get my cheap crap from China.
I've only paid a little attention to the strike, but heard yesterday that one of the issues was not as much money but automation. The union wanted to prevent any automation of jobs. That seems like an unreasonable demand. It would seem like at a certain point not allowing any increase would lead to almost total automation.Never mind; the strike is over.
Back to work everyone!

I don't watch the non-Sunday games because I don't want to start watching one I know I'm not going to finish watching...I'm really regretting not watching this one, though.I got sucked into watching @Bubba's Falcons play Buccaneers. I turn on the game to see what former Panther, Baker Mayfield was up to. Cousins' record setting performance was impressive, 500+ yds. The game was better than the pumpkin porters that I drink while watching the game.
It's empty here but I attributed it to that type of stuff being bought to send up the mountains. As bottled water, baby formula, and various cleaning stuff is also missing. Most of the dairy, frozen, and meat case is empty too, but that's because they had to toss the stuff that went bad when the power went out.Toilet paper aisle was damn near empty at wal mart last night.
Cousins in on waivers in my league - whoever dropped him missed out on 35 fantasy points.I don't watch the non-Sunday games because I don't want to start watching one I know I'm not going to finish watching...I'm really regretting not watching this one, though.
Saw this article a week ago or so. Fascinating as I love when history like this comes to light. Plenty of speculation on why. Trade routes? Food supply? Religion? Brutal form of warfare with close contact between enemies. Slashing with edge weapons, blunt force trauma, arrows from longer (but short - these are not carbon graphite straight shafted which considerably opens up the distance and increases accuracy ) and likely fists. I've always thought being an archaeologist digging up sites to learn more about history would be fascinating. Indiana Jones did not plant this thought - I blame National Geographic. This is a fascinating article about a battle that was fought over 3,000 years ago in what is now northern Germany. The battle occurred during the bronze age, but researchers have found flint arrowheads as well. Wonder what they were fighting about? Probably Us and Them. Some things never change.
I see wood frames? No eye protection from splinters on off-target rounds?WSU, remember working in the pits at the rifle range? You may commence firing when your DOG target appears....

Oh it's one of the most sublime beers I've ever had. I think it comes out when Girl Scout Cookies are out, so... February? I'll keep an eye out and maybe I can get ya some.I need to try this.

I'm not big on flavored beers but every once in a while one nails it. Sin Mint is one of those. It all depends. Three thin mints are good. Half a sleeve of then mints start to get medicinal. I'd definitely try it. I'm not a fan of the peanut butter stouts or the pb and j stouts.
Just went down the rabbit hole of Jackson Browne > Nico > Velvet Underground.Caught between the longing for love
And the struggle for the legal tender
Where the sirens sing and the church bells ring
And the junk man pounds his fender
Where the veterans dream of the fight
Fast asleep at the traffic light
And the children solemnly wait
For the ice cream vendor
Out into the cool of the evening
Strolls the Pretender
He knows that all his hopes and dreams
Begin and end there
Brings back some memories! I never had to work in the pits after I picked up corporal but this video sort of makes me wish I did!WSU, remember working in the pits at the rifle range? You may commence firing when your DOG target appears....

Frames? One's shot would have to be horribly off to nearly miss the entire target and hit the frame. Remember, these are Marine sharpshooters we're talking about.I see wood frames? No eye protection from splinters on off-target rounds?
