I kinda want to grill something for dinner tonight. It's like 35 out but that isn't a show stopper.

In fact, I think I am going to go have a toasted GF English muffin with peanut butter and a big glass of OJ.

Does anybody like McDonald's Egg McMuffin ?

I occasionaly like it without cheese.

Working a full day today. The Amish are replacing my garage roof right now in crappy weather. Going to go home and do a round on the bike trainer and watch some more bowl games.

Mom hasn't had internet for a week. The Girl helped her yesterday and reconnected it for her.

Like bacon, egg & cheese on a bun, biscuit or english muffin - probably in that order.

How worried should I be that Mom (94 yo) has a 2nd heart valve failing?
1st one the they did a replacement but now they don't think she could tolerate a 2nd proceedure.

I have received 0 emails since 8:01 this morning & I'm not complaining.
Back in the office after being out (including weekends) for 10 days and thankfully I only have 69 emails from the outside. Half will will likely be from our permitting software. I have not had the courage to open yet.

When I return to the office it will be after 3 weeks off. Kinda scared of my email. 😳

My oven door is broken. I planned to use it today. I just put short ribs and Asian seasonings into the crock pot. I prefer cooking meat in the oven to get caramelization, but I also prefer not to waste food so the crockpot is my best option today.

I've been getting rid of old food and using up what I have. This recipe was good for that.

Digging through a box here in my office and found an old report card of mine from ninth grade.

Math wasn’t (and still isn’t) my strongest subject.

Just had a convo with my newly aged 18 y.o. yesterday (and his b-day) about battleships and how they are outdated. The sea is now ruled from the air and what is underneath the waves. No need to hurl an 18.1" shell 25 miles (Japanese was the largest) any any target with the air and missile/rocket technology we have. The British had an 18" in WWI, the Germans had a 21" in development in the late 1930s but never deployed. Largest US deployed was 16" but had an 18" under consideration.
