Wife and I started Yellowstone a few days ago. So far we like it. The cinematography is simply beautiful, it's as if the land is a character unto itself.
Some shows are time and place specific. Once they are past that time, they don't age well.West Wing was a great show in its time. I've been tempted to re-watch it but was reluctant to do so for fear of finding out how poorly it's aged.

Do you realize what you’ve set in motion? People will suffer.
I do.Watched Kaleidescope on Netflix this weekend.
It was a decent limited series heist story.
If you like that kind of thing.
Finished all three seasons of Deadwind (on Netflix) - between that and Young Wallander, I feel like I'm about to spin down a Nordic Noir rabbit hole.
After watching Andor, you will see the vast differences in how flashback sequences can be done well (vs. not well at all).Watching Book of Boba Fett. It was nice to see a couple Mandalorian episodes thrown in there.
There's a limited series adaptation of the book "A Suitable Boy" by Vikram Seth that is excellent, produced by Mira Nair. It was on BBC OneMy daughter put Britbox on our Amazon so I am getting caught up with Shetland!
Bad news. Season 6 is the last season. My daughter put Britbox on our Amazon so I am getting caught up with Shetland!

The part that hasn't aged well is communications technology. In that respect it's become a "period piece" where pagers and faxes are the height of instant communication, and cell phones (let along smart phones) are not yet standard equipment for the typical person. As someone who lived through that transitional time I kind of enjoy with nostalgia the world that used to be.I'm slowly re-watching it now for probably the 3rd time. I think it's actually aged pretty well because many of the issues are still relevant. But more importantly I think the interaction between characters and the relationships and trust and respect transcend any time period. Plus the writing is just so damn good!
I started Umbrella Academy. It had trouble holding my interest. Maybe there's a "hump" you have to get over before it pulls you in....?I finished Umbrella Academy.

Documentary Now on netflix.
Basically, extended SNL skits with Bill Hader & crowd.
I rewatched Running Man last year after reading the story. The visuals are dated, but the feeling that we could eventually watch deathmatches and the social media aspect seems much less dystopian future and more give it a few years than before.Watched Idiocracy with the 13 and 14 year olds yesterday.
They thoroughly enjoyed it.
Next will be The Running Man and/or Zombieland.
Yeah, I liked the Dark Side of the Moon one.I found that Roku has a bunch of free concerts and documentaries about classic albums to watch so I've started watching some of them, they're especially good for background music when I'm doing something else. So far I've watched the "Classic Albums" shows on Aja and 2112/Moving Pictures and I started the one on The Door's self titled debut album last night. There doesn't seem to be any groundbreaking insights in them but there's some good commentary from the album producers and engineers and they do a good job at getting interviews with the surviving band members.
I really wanted to watch the one on Disraeli Gears but it doesn't want to seem to load up for some reason.

That was an old British production from ITC (who also made Space 1999 if you recall the show that came on right before the Muppet Show). I saw UFO some time ago. It's campy now, but don't think it was intended to be viewed that way back in the day.We watched this campy and hilarious show last night called UFO from 1970-1971 - omg you gotta see it
The 'best' campy productions are the ones that were dead serious in their day. That was an old British production from ITC (who also made Space 1999 if you recall the show that came on right before the Muppet Show). So....the original Batman series starring Adam West that ran from '66 - '68 was intended to be campy. Does that mean it would not qualify as 'best' camp in your view? The 'best' campy productions are the ones that were dead serious in their day.
Hence the need for MST3K by the 1990s.
Cunk on Earth is kinda cringe but funny. Diane Morgan is great.
