Maybe abducted isn't the right word. More like lost and can't find his way home.

Yeah that is a better choice of words.

You HAVE to watch Stranger Things if you lived through the 80's. I was 12 (like the kids in the show) at exactly the time they are depicting and holy crap they could be me and my nerdy friends. The kid abducted will NOT freak you out. It would be a crime to skip this little series.

That's my plug. :)

I was very surprised with how good it was. Netflix original series are really some of the best on any format coming through the TV these days. You cannot go wrong with anything Netflix has done recently.

We just finished Stranger Things and thoroughly enjoyed it. Felt like I was watching The Goonies or ET for the first time as a kid again. Can't wait to see where it goes from here and hope they can keep it up.

"The Night Of" currently running on HBO is AMAZING. Other than GoT, there hasn't been a show for me in recent history that I've been dying to know what happens the next week, but this one definitely falls under that category.

As you can see from my avatar, I am totally into Stranger Things, so thank you for telling me to watch it! I have only 2 more episodes left!

I am watching it with my 11 year old son and his 12 year old BFF so it's great to discuss it with them - Winona Ryder is perfect and I am glad she's back on screen

I've been thinking about checking this one out, but you've sold me. I'll watch it this weekend.

The casting for Stranger Things was great. Every character was perfect, down to the ones who didn't even have much screen time like Barb and Steve's slimy friends.

Seconded. My favorite cast member is David Harbour, the Sheriff. The guy is brilliant in everything he does. He's also a supporting cast member of the severely underappreciated shows "Rake" and "Manhattan". Both of which I recommend, by the way. Strongly.

I just started watching Marcella and the plot includes messing with the requirements of the Planning Officer - good show thus far

Finished it and it was good

I'll just say it: really, LP?

Finished Touch which is excellent

Just started Cleverman which is excellent - but I just got a notification from Netflix that season 3 of The Blacklist is up so I am conflicted

Here is my binge list from Netflix:

1. Both seasons of Legit
2. All three seasons of Bojack Horseman
3. The two seasons of Penny Dreadful that are currently up

I watched Touch immediately after binging 24. Needless to say there were certain transitional difficulties watching Keiffer Sutherland go from playing Jack Bauer to this special needs kid's dad.

Getting close to finally finishing the entire 9 season run of The Office. The show took a noticeable decline when Steve Carell left the show.

I'm slowly going through Bojack Horseman and HIMYM. I guess binge wouldn't be the right term for me on those.

Anyone watch Sense8? It's a Netflix original. Pretty good if you can handle LGBT issues. They're making one more season that will come out in December.

Showtime's Shameless which most seasons are on Netflix now. Featuring William H. Macy and Emmy Rossum, it's brilliant. There is a lot of sex, nudity, drugs, and booze in it.

I did not like Bojack Horseman. I didn't even make it through the first episode. I really didn't find it funny.

Started watching that about 2 years ago, while the quality of the episodes has dropped, my wife and I still enjoy it...I hate the actual waiting for new episodes part of catching up on a series during a binge...(I'm at that point now with Game of Thrones too)...

My wife started watching season 3 of Blacklist, which she watched the first two seasons prevously. I hadn't watched any but I watched the first episode of season 3 with her. Needless to say, I started watching season one over the weekend.

Started at the beginning of Blue Bloods about a year ago and stopped mid-season because we just weren't into the characters. Last week, we picked it back up and just finished Season 1 and I've gotta say -- I like it.

Before that, we watched Crossing Jordan (which I've seen at least 5x).

Looking forward to new shows coming out this month!

Slowly working my way through Death in Paradise - just a couple of episodes into Season 3 now...not great television by any means, but it's entertaining enough, and the Caribbean island scenery is awesome.

10 more days.

Now it's 8 more days. But who's counting. :not:

In the mean time I'm finishing up with season 9 of Foyle's War. I guess I don't enjoy the post-war episodes as much as the ones set during the war.

As an old man, I've been binge watching the last three seasons of NCIS over the past couple of weeks and am trying to catch back up and finish them all before the new season starts next Monday. I think we are down to about 8 or 9 episodes left.

I loved it! I've watched each season at least 2x through so far.

We're on Season 6 now. Should have it watched in time for Season 7 which airs in October. It feels like it has maybe one or two seasons left after that.

I will fill my binge time with Season 2 of Narcos. Queen of the South is also very good, I think it's on USA.

As an aside to this thread, if anyone doesn't have cable, you should try out SlingTV. It's WAY better than I thought it would be...and comes in at around 26 dollars a month for their middle of the road package.

Watching the latest season of Walking Dead. I could only get 1 episode in last night, but I'll have to binge this weekend.

You don't have to be wired for it do you? Is it like a streaming service I can get through a roku, xbox, wii, whatever or is it it's own box?

Somehow the only episode that I haven't watched is the very last one of this past season. At this point, I've heard enough about what happens but will have to watch the episode anyway -- probably right before the new one airs.

It's one of the few shows where I annoyingly have to wait a week to watch the next episode.

I usually forget about it until the next season comes out on netflix, but I might have to watch the season week to week since someone's gonna die in dramatic fashion.

I some how watched all of season six since Friday. I finished up the last one this morning before I woke the kids up for school. Surprisingly, I was still able to get stuff done too. I may have to watch season 7 when they air.

I just got notified that Season 3 of Penny Dreadful is up! Just got to pry the kid away from the Xbox for a while . . .

On YouTube no less...Better Late Than Never with Henry Winkler, George Foreman, Terry Bradshaw & William Shanter in Asia. It's forking hilarious!!!

I'm curious about this show. I hear Eva Green is on it, and is basically naked the entire time, which is fantastic. I have no idea what the plot is though (but I don't think that's important).

Not the entire time (or even remotely close to it, sadly), but a darn entertaining show nonetheless.

just got notified season 3 of wallander is up so when I am done with season 3 of The Blacklist, I will head over there

got caught up with Blue Bloods on CBS.com

now watching Black Mirror - it's very creepy - a futuristic Twilight Zone kind of thing - good writing, ensemble acting, so it's a different story every episode with all new people

I've started watching it. Halfway through Season 2, I really like it so far! My favorite character is easily Dorian Gray, but I like anything Reeve Carney does.

Heard good things about this one, I think I'll be giving it a shot sometime soon. Season 2 of Dark Matter just dropped on SyFy so that is next on the list once I finish Penny Dreadful.

Do NOT tell ursus this, but I've been watching the Canadian tv show 'Where the Heart is" on the sly. Shhhh.

I've covered most of season 1 and 2. Weird short seasons. The first episode was kind of sick. I mean a pig? Really?

Stopped watching Black Mirror to catch the new Dark Matter. I think I'm almost done. Maybe I'll finish this weekend.

Just saw this post. You do not. It's live streaming through the internet. Just about any streaming device will run it. I use a Roku for the actual SlingTV app. It unlocks access to many on demand services too, but it's limited in what devices those services work on. I cannot use FXNow on my Roku, but it works on my Xbox 360.

I've had really good luck with it so far. It allows me to watch the Hurricanes and Hornets games which I haven't been able to watch in nearly two years. It's like 25 dollars a month for the package I have, which is their middle package. The lower and higher ends offer almost every ESPN channel available.

Holy crap this show is great! The first episode put me off a bit, but the second was fantastic.

yeah, it's crazy stuff, well done and really hits home, like we are not too far from this

I'm now at episode 3 of season 3. I watched the first two seasons in one night. It really is phenomenal. I can say that not a single episode was flat out bad. At first I hated the Waldo one, but once I really got into the episode it was pretty brilliant. Donald Trump is our own Waldo!!

My favorite so far is between the biking one in season 1, the Christmas one with John Hamm, or the video game one in season 3.

The Christmas one was pretty cool. I also liked the social networking one. That one seems to hit close to home just like Waldo. I think I just have one or two shows left, but I had to finish Dark Matter first and them damn kids just won't let you binge watch anything. They expect you to be parents or something.

I'm almost done with the Christmas one so I am a little behind you, and yes, I loved the Waldo one and it also surprised me - whats the biking one? the history of you one was really rough

The biking one is the one with those kids and the Hot Shot ticket. The name was Fifteen Million Merits. I assume the kids were essentially the power plant for some large future city maybe? I just liked how the story built up really.

History of You was pretty rough for sure. Apparently Robert Downey Jr. optioned that episode to be made into a movie sometime. I'm not sure that episode had enough content to do a full movie though. I think the most powerful episode was Be Right Back though.

Started Designated Survivor over the weekend. FInished four episodes. I like it!

Hubby wants to start Westworld, so we'll probably do that this week. I keep hearing how good it is, but we haven't had the opportunity to sit down together to watch.
