2. Cats tried to eat one of them.

5. My knee hurts.

1. tomorrow's my b-day
2. Will likely go to Amish country tomorrow for lunch
3. I wish there were more GOOD tv shows on
4. In general, the garden was somewhat disappointing this summer. Too hot and dry.
5. Been watching lots of NDE videos to see what other people's experiences were like after dying

3. The Thursday Murder Club series comes out this week. The books very creative and entertaining!

1. today is election day
2. I'm so ready for it to be over, but I think we'll be fine whoever wins
3. My daughter was tired and stuffy this morning and my wife talked her out of going to school
4. I'm ready for things to slow down a bit
5. I need to find new hobby.

1) The weather has been really nice here the past couple of days
2) Mexican for dinner tonight because it is what we do on Tuesday
3) Went to a home HS football game this weekend. It is absolutely no the HS environment that I grew up in. They have a jumbotron and some serious amenities. But then again the school is nicer than most Community College Campuses.
4) Outlook changed and now I can't do some of the stuff that I do.
5) Oldest is getting his driver's license. Next available appointment is the end of October.

1) Got a pre-ordered book from Amazon today! Already on Chapter 5!

2) Dad's got a lot of medical going on, and it's stressful.

3) Dentist appt next week. Need to go but not looking forward to it.

4) Hubby has been in a better mood since his hip issue got resolved.

5) See my sister in 2 weeks!

1. Fixed my power mirror outage in the camry! Was just a bad fuse, but the modern style blade fuses are annoying to remove without a fuse puller tool if the panel is buried behind the dash and you need the tool. Engine bay fuse panel is just plug/play because you have much more room to work, the in-dash requires undoing a secret panel behind one of the ashtrays to access.

2. I have a line in on a non running 1990 Volvo 245 wagon with a 5 speed. Now that I have two off street parking spots and a little workspace, I am finally able to take a project that I can dedicate a full year too in order to get back on the road. The price I'd get the car is a really great deal, it just needs literally everything gone over. Now that I have owned 5 other Volvos and am intimately familiar with the B230F/M47 driveline, I feel confident I can make a righteous beater out of this dead wagon if I take my time.

3. Meow, thats it.

4. I like to listen to the French language Radio-Canada repeater that comes out of Toronto at 860 AM. It comes in loud and clear in Buffalo!

5. My Camry isn't as fooked as I thought, it just needs tires, rear trailing arm bushings and some minor exhaust work. I will probably need an acyteline torch to "burn out" the bushings in the trailing arms that are going bad, so I will farm that job out to my Mechanic buddy who actually knows how to weld.

1. It was kind of a nothingburger Labor Day holiday
2. That said, I don't object to the day off in any way, shape, or form.
3. Potato harvest was very disappointing.
4. It's been a tough year for gardening pretty much across the board thanks to the weird weather
5. Looking forward to fall. Show me that sweet sweet pumpkin spice deodorant!

1) I am not a happy camper. I had an incident a little over a week ago that required stitches. No big deal, it was only 3. During the week, my wife kept cementing that it does not look like it is healing all that well. Finally, on Saturday she took out the stitches because they were starting to get imbedded into the skin. Once again she expressed concern. On Sunday morning, she could tell it was bothering me, looked at it, and determined that it was likely infected. So back to the urgent care center. They put me on an antibiotic that makes me feel like total crap.

2) It was nice to get out and watch College Football. Although some LSU fan was pissed that the bartender switched one of the TV's to the Michigan game. Every other TV was on LSU already. He started to get lippy with the bartender until he asked "Who asked for it to be changed" and I was sitting right there. I smiled and said #GoBlue. He backed off quickly.

3) I painted and installed a dinning room chandelier that we found at the Restore over the weekend. We paid $45 for it. Wife found the same one in a magazine for $3,500. I will take that as a win.

4) We contacted with a publication for a large add to promote economic development. They use freelance writers for the script and the results were very disappointing. Our PIO and I going to rewrite it ourselves and send it in. Personally, I think Chat GTP would have done a better job.

5) Yesterday was also 901 day here in the Mid-south. The Memphis Tigers cheerleaders and mascot were at my gym.

Be grateful you live in the time that you do. If it were 200 years earlier, it might be game over for a simple thing like an infection from a cut that got out of hand.

Long Weekend was refreshing but Saturday-Sunday sucked....all I did was sleep, clean/chores, spend way too much money on groceries at target.

I saw Merle Allin in Buffalo on Friday, the 70 year old brother of the late GG Allin. Show involved Merle taking off his pants, and afterword's, you could buy the pants for $100. No thanks! The local support acts upstaged Merle.

I went birdwatching yesterday on Grand Island with a new work friend (completely different department, no drama) and we were the last customers of the season for the snack bar at Beaver Island Park.

I am going boating on the Niagara River after work, but with an experienced mariner who knows where the navigation hazards are and how to avoid (basically stay east of the NYPA Water intakes and you wont enter Falls hazard).

My apartment is really nice and easy to keep clean being a small 1br. Also feel more motivated than ever to keep my living spaces clean and orderly, it has everything to do with coming home from working a "real" job, and wanting to be in a clean home. In Montreal, I tried to avoid work as much as possible, so the apartment became a filthy man cave.....Never again/no mas!

Groceries at Target, river boating, clean apartment -- bird watching! I am so proud of you. Welcome to adulthood!! I want to take you to Costco for a hot dog and complimentary refill IMMEDIATELY! Seriously though, it sounds like a good weekend overall, and I love how happy you sound in your current life/gig!

1 - grilled chicken legs yesterday afternoon & it was not in blazing hot sun
2 - golf cart parking symbols are being painted this morning downtown - there are a few areas that are not big enough for a car parking space & rather than painted lines across them, we put these in
3 - didn't win the billion dollar lottery last night
4 - we are going to surplus a plotter & the amount of paperwork is a lot normally but has increased because the transfer paperwork from police to planning was not done 2 years ago & can't get purchasing to surplus it out of police because it's physically not there.
5 - my mom turns 93 on Friday.

Why thank you, hearing this is very validating :) WNY Life has really been a godsend. I'd gladly take up your generous offer! The nearest Costco to Buffalo is in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Grab your passport and I can meet you there any weeknight ;)

Yea... that would be Memphis. But not the community I work or live in.

1 - thinking the phrase "short agenda, long meeting" will apply at tonight's council meeting
2 - why is it when you wake up a little early, you just start thinking about something stupid you said 5 years ago
3 - I won the Powerball last drawing with one of the Powerball numbers & it paid $4.00 (but I can say I won the Powerball)
4 - last Saturday we went to a brewery in the mountains that has a great outdoor space since it was such a beautiful day - keep trying to spend local for hurricane recovery
5 - dinner last night was Brunswick Stew & it was delicious.

Did you invest that $4.00 into a good blue chip stock like Coca Cola or Johnson & Johnson?

1. The weather has been great, especially in the morning it feels like fall. It's supposed to hit the 90s this weekend though.
2. Pre-fall has been insanely busy with events for kids and work.
3. 4-term mayor didn't run again, but is having trouble handing over the reigns to his handpicked successor.
4. I didn't win the Powerball, at least the jack pot. I doubt I got $4.00.
5. I'm ready for the run from Halloween to Christmas. I'm thinking I'm going to take a couple of weeks off around the holiday since I've only used two days of leave this year.
