Good pointsSimply 'great american fiction'.
Only two early books could be construed as sci-fi: Player Piano and Sirens of Titan.

But...I tend to believe the man himself when he says he's not sci-fi.While Vonnegut might not of considered himself a science fiction writer, the themes are all through his writing. He might not consider it the primary point, but he has lots of books of that have time travel, aliens, the end of the world, post apocalypse, or dystopian societies. Its almost always through satire or to make some other point. His short stories are even more focused towards sci-fi.
I remember reading Harrison Bergeron in high school and thinking what a cool premise for a story. Thinking back on the story now, it feels almost a bit sophomoric. While Vonnegut might not of considered himself a science fiction writer, the themes are all through his writing. 2. I am getting squished.
3. Butter chicken for dinner.
4. Have to breakout the sewing kit.
5. I once made a doll-sized quilt.
I am a poet.This almost reads like
dandy's off-kilter haiku
Work on your meter
That's a bit betterI am a poet.
I really did not know it.
The night sky is dark.
You'll find that memories will fade. You'll also find that they will become more balanced good with the bad. I've been gone longer than you and have a bit more perspective.5) A memory from living up north showed up on my facebook today. It made me miss living in a big old Victorian in a wonderful historic neighborhood, walking distance to the core of the city. It really was an amazing house... but then I remembered dealing with the snow, the heat bills, and the impacts of the winter, and started to again appreciate living in the south.
4. Can't decide if I want to pull the trigger on some tickets, prices are stupid but it's the only time it'll happen
