The devil you know....5. My in-laws are like yours maister.
How would you know?If we can't get along, we oughtta be apart
And I'm-a wondering where'd you get that cold, cold heart
Set me free - sign my release
I'm tired of being the villain of the piece
You been givin' me a bad time
Tell me what'd I do
How come I always get a hard time
Honey when it comes to you
Sayin' things that you didn't have to
How come I always get a hard time
Honey when it comes to you
You only get one life, this I know
I wanna get my kicks in now before I go
The fire of love is dead and cold
I gotta satisfy the hunger in my soul
He is listening, and learning, or the neighbors wouldn't have complemented you. He's testing his limits with you, which is safe, and not out in the community. I'd let him know what the neighbors said and thank him for making you proud.2) A couple neighbors pulled me aside last weekend and commented about how much my oldest has grown and how respectful he is. Now if we can just get him to listen to us, that would be awesome.
1. It is hot. 37.5c
...been there in ways, have comparable family/in law situations. There is supposed to be learning rooted in those arrangements. On the lookout here.1. Looking at an initial potato harvest this evening as well as some more beans

We did. As soon a I got in the house, I called him into the kitchen, told the wife what the neighbors said, and told him how proud I was of him, and how behaving well in public increases our trust in him to do the right thing when we are not around. He is listening, and learning, or the neighbors wouldn't have complemented you. 1. Does it have something to do with the pickle party?1. I'm approaching this weekend with an unsettled feeling. A sense of foreboding. Not sure why

1) I love good deli pickles but it is so hard to find the good ones. You know, the kind that was in a giant jar on the counter of a sandwich shop.2. making more dill spear pickles and relish tomorrow, using home grown cucumbers
So, I am going to pick up the boys from school, go out get a bite to eat, and go to an outdoor concern in our downtown.
More like a weather person. The 'concern' is that it will rain on the 'concert'You have outdoors 'concerns' in downtown - might need to get code enforcement on that![]()

Sounds like fun....weekend visit with family that has plenty history of estrangement etc. Waves of unspokens, turned glances, ho-hum half hugs and surface civility. Some missing members are declared exiles, others sentenced so.
Liberal libation is likely to loosen things a lot.
I've a long standing debate with some family members about whether fate or destiny forces us to deal with family. I lean less toward assuming obligations to endure acrimony. I rate genealogy and ancestor worship as way down the list of pastimes.Sounds like fun.
Can't wait.
