Somehow, my wife and I got sucked back into Wordle and Worldle (being geography types). I had forgotten how much fun and hard these games can be. I will say that I got today's Worldle on my first guess. It was a pair of islands and I knew it had to be one of 2-3 options. I guessed right :)

I tried another NY Times game today after someone posted their score. Connections. It's pretty fun, too.

Any other daily game recommendations?

I play Worldle every morning. I'm getting better with the African and island nations.

I can usually get it within 3-5 guesses since I always use the 'distance' indicator function.

I play Connections most days. I either get it right away with no mistakes or it's a blowout. No in between.

  • Wordle with morning coffee. Right now have 100% on 200 tries. It's just not that hard. Maybe that's why it is so popular.

I do crossword puzzles every day on my phone. I find it very relaxing. Didn't know there was such a thing as Worldle, but I'm in!

Off to the app store...

Anyone who knows me on Facebook knows that I like to post my Wordle results with remarks. Some people view them as hints, but they are merely remarks.

(That's a pretty rare 2 for me.)

Spelling bee is fun, too. Just tried that one. Its another ny times game.

I love Spelling Bee and play it most days while relaxing at lunch. I've been playing it for a couple years now and had no idea until just a couple weeks ago that you could click on the little "Community" tab and get some hints that other users put out so that's helped me get all the words a few times, though I usually refuse to look at those hints until I've gotten the pangram (or at least one pangram if there are multiples).

The Connections game is pretty cool too, and like Faust Motel, it's usually something I can get right away or I get blown out. There seems to be no in-between with that game!

I've gotten into playing Wordle and Connections most days, and sometimes the "tile" one and the crosswords. The Connections today made me laugh - the top row when the game opened said Sponge, Bob, Square, Pants. :ha:

We used to play HQTrivia religiously as an office, but as far as I know that game is dead. Won about $10 over the years from them. (Whee!!)

So I hit against the NYT paywall when I tried to play spelling bee. Dang. Guess I'll have to find another way.
