Purpose of life? Interesting question and one that will vary as much as the person answering such question. I was raised religious but not much, if any, currently. I did have an experience which can be classified as religious when I was involved in a car accident a few years ago. I won't repeat what I experienced as I have only told my wife. But I will say that I do not remember anything from 20 minutes before the accident to several hours after. Evidently I was talking, albeit repeating myself over and over, but have no recollection of the accident, window smashed open to unlock the car, the ambulance ride at full code, stitching my eye, x-rays, CT scans, etc. But I have a memory of a conversation I had with someone which would be the "religious experience." Story on the full code - when they were able to get in touch with my wife, working at a hospital, they told her they were coming in full code which to her meant on thing and to the ambulance crew meant another. She first thought I was on the brink of death. Full code to a the EMT crew was lights and sirens. Once that was clarified, the EMT brought me to the hospital where she was working. End result, some memory issues due to the concussion. Thought this would negatively affect a procedure I had a few months prior but seems to have not gone that direction.
