In the spirit of the holiday and without being too touchy-feely, what are you thankful for? I'm thankful for my job. I landed in a good place with good people. Further, in this economy-about any steady job is a good job.

Family, friends, very good health, completing a huge chunk of my portfolio this year, passing the AICP exam on the first try, no siginificant debt, a small inheritance, I have too much I'm grateful for...

I am thankful for getting a new job (found out last week, woot!), my wonderful friends, having a husband that is not a warden, finally getting answers, my horse fairy in Tennessee, my cozy little house, for life in general being pretty darn great right now.

I'm grateful for (for the time being) having the freedom to chart my own course and establish my own station in life.

I'm thankful for having some of the best family and friends in the world. I'm thankful for having held down a steady seasonal planning internship job during my entire time in college and all the opportunities it has afforded me. I'm thankful that despite Obamania, my beloved state rep and state senator prevailed. I'm thankful for all my favorite classic rock bands still making music and touring. I'm thankful my entire family is finally in good health and relatively good economic shape for a change. I'm thankful my car has held up OK. I'm thankful for having such a wonderful dog. I'm thankful for my new nephew who was born this year. I'm thankful to live in these United States, and no matter who's in charge, my patriotism will never waver.

Thankful for my wife and sons, my 15 minute walk to work, renting a nice little house (and not having to worry about the silliness/headaches of ownership), and my very supportive and well paying job

Waking up everyday in a free country, having clean water and electricity, having the opportunity to pursue a university education, to earn enough to put a roof over my head and food on the table, good friends-online and in real life who've supported me through the many things life throws at you, and above all-my daughter (even if she is a teenager).

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

I'm grateful for my wine collection, the hot tub, the pool, the inventor of the Wonder Bra, lower gas prices...(but not the white tile floors :-{ ).

Seriously, I'm grateful to be living with a wonderful woman and her son in Florida (thanks again to Dan and Cyburbia), the good health of the family, a stable good paying gov't job, a roof over our head (with a fixed mortgage rate), food on the table, a mild hurricane season in Florida, and a Democrat soon-to-be in the White House.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

I'm thankful for good family, friends and dogs. My job that I will have for another year that is a 5 minute walking commute and my wife keeping her job.
Glad I am able to save money in this time too.

I'm thankful my SIL is not speaking to me; since it means I don't have to listen to her.

I'm thankful that I'm now in (legal) year 2 with RJ and very very happy.

I'm thankful that I've never had to hire a lawyer for my kid.

I'm thankful that I've got so many wonderful friends.

I'm thankful for all the usual things and also that:

1. The MIL lives in CA and never comes here, and
2. The ex only occasionally intrudes on my life despite having relo'd to TX, and
3. ZG keeps RJ satisfied or sedated. What a saint, you gotta know he's HM, and
4. The rest of you who either tolerate me or find me amusing despite whatever that says about you.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I am feeling very very thankful this year...

- For the colleagues and clients who provided opportunities for interesting projects and billable work (allowing me to be self-employed >2 yrs now)
- For having a roof over my head and food in the fridge and good coffee and wine, and not having to worry about it most of the time
- For my wonderful husband who has just been great... 'nuff said
- For the continued good health of my family
- For discovering relatively late in life that there really is a LOT to be thankful for.

I'm thankful that the government creates federal holiday's that give us an excuse to eat, drink and be merrry...........................like I really need an excuse. :-D

But seriously..........a great job, a wife that makes me happier with each passing day, two beautiful daughters, a dog that's happy no matter what, for living in a great neighborhood.

I'm thankful for an amazing family that supports one another in good times as well as bad times, and for trustworthy and reliable friends.

I'm thankful for my kids, my job, family, friends and all the other good people in my life, and that we get everything we need.

That all my friends living in or currently visiting Mumbai are safe. There was one close call with a friend having left the Taj Hotel 30 minutes before all hell broke loose.

Im thankful for meeting my boyfriend this year

I am thankful for my family, cats and puppy Abbie

I am thankful that when s#$t hit the fan at work this week, that my colleagues that matter to me, supported me through some tough stuff.

In this economy I am thankful for
-my job (and Cyburbia-b/c I found it posted here and applied).
-finishing graduate school and my thesis this year instead of waiting another 2 semsters.
-all the wonderful people I have met in my new home, hundreds of mile away from everything I knew.
