I can't wait to go to a Bundesliga game! Though I am pretty sure my adopted team is Schlecht.3.) I really like the German model of pro soccer. I wish all our pro sports had it.
1. Trying to resist the urge to make it a Taco Thursday.
Ok. You convinced me. Can I place my order now?
Once you get your first, honest to goodness death threat, you don't perceive things the same way again.1.) Once you have almost died, you don't perceive things the same way again
2.) I am really looking forward to getting this move over with and hopefully can have nice last part of my career
3.) I really like the German model of pro soccer. I wish all our pro sports had it.
Pics or it didn't happen. This probably belongs more in the Home Improvements thread, but replacing our fence is one of the next things on the overall list for us.3. Tomorrow we get the fence replaced
He loves it and waits patiently for me to cut it up. He prefers the stalks to the florets.^^Broccoli?? My dogturns her nose up at anything green.
Yeah, that's not a thing....or maybe I just have way too much beer in the beer fridge...
This.Three things irritating me today:
1) People who sell off part of their lot to a neighbor which makes their lot non compliant and don't understand why that's wrong and the sale has gone through and the abutter is a local attorney who is also being belligerent and now they both think they can get a variance
I said this very thing recently and got shouted down by the missus that 'she isn't ready for summer to end yet'. I'm wondering what needs to transpire before she will be ready?Done with summer temps.
Much needed rain and 70 degree weather yesterday and today.
I need fall.
A few years ago I met with a developer that wanted to bring a company that would create almost 300 new jobs to discus economic development incentives and why our City is the right place for his company. A few hours later, I handed a home owner an NOV for not cleaning up the dog crap in his back yard which was causing the neighborhood to smell really bad. Some times you wear VERY different hats)I inspect big construction projects that use big bulldozers. I never thought I'd write an NOV for someone's back yard.
what kind of beans1. Got my hearing aids adjusted (louder) for the first time since 2015. Kinda annoying to hear clocks ticking in other rooms now
2. I have just been tearing through these staff reports at record speed this week. Which is good because I have 5 to get through
3. I think I will harvest more beans tonight and maybe can them this weekend.
Green beans (bush), wax beans (bush), and pole beans. Why do you ask? Do you like vegetable gardening? (careful how you respond, or you're liable to become my favorite Cyburbian!)what kind of beans

The 2007 Garden Thread
It's nearing the end of January and that means it's time to start the first garden-related activity of the year. Time to go through the seed catalogues and decide what to plant and where to plant it. Burpee seed catalog is usually my first choice but there are many other sources out there...www.cyburbia.org

2010 Garden Thread
Never too early to start thinking about gardening. At the end of last year, I had some ripe bell peppers left on the vine. I decided to try drying these out in my smoker, then grinding for paprika. While Hungarian paprika peppers are the most coveted, my research told me any sweet pepper could...www.cyburbia.org

2014 Garden Thread... AKA, grow your own!
Since Maister has the winter blues... (and given the weather it is understandable) I am going to kick of this growing season. 2016 Garden Thread
Last year I lost my entire garden. Life got in the way and at some point I entirely stopped weeding and watering it and it died. This year I intend to only plant a single 8' x 4' raised bed and let the other beds go fallow. I will focus all of my available energy and attention on weeding...www.cyburbia.org
