NEVERENDING ♾️ The Richmond Jake's NEVERENDING Wine Thread

I love rich people...
Sounds like an "only in California" story...

"Hey Honey, the Prop 65 website says that storing wine in our house could cause cancer. Whatever should we do with our collection?"
"I know - we'll store it on the ocean floor off Santa Barbara!"

Just to resurrect this thread, now named in RJ's honor, here are some pics of an award-winning wine bar in my fair town.

I was proud to play a big part in its restoration.

Photo caption says that the wine bar owners received a "State of Iowa historic preservation award for rehabilitating the property, which dates to the 1800s."
Are you at liberty to post the details of the restoration process? (Maybe on another thread?)

I know we are drifting away from the topic of the thread but what kind of info are you looking for?

In my fair city's newspaper Almanac -

Today’s Number: 3.09 — gallons of wine per capita Americans consumed in 2020.
Some Cyburbians must be consuming much more than this per capita amount because I don't / didn't drink any?

^^ I more than met my quota, if that's the official number.

And I'm more of a beer drinker than a wine drinker.

So I am also a wino, and we are finishing our basement, which will now include a formal wine cellar. It is surprising to me how few builders have done this in Ohio. Come on people, who doesn't need to have their wine stored at an appropriate temperature? When did we become savages? ;)

Bump
So who is lining up to try their hand at making "Mountain Dew wine"? Despite having a slight "chemical aftertaste" it's reportedly "good."
