Donald Trump's NFT Collection Sells Out, Raising $4.45M

Playing with paradise: Defunct Bali golf course another Trump fiasco

Six times between 1991 and 2009, his casino and hotel projects fell into bankruptcy.

^^^I wonder how many he bought or the RNC bought to sell out. That was a known tactic for his book(s), Kushner's & Jr's books to hit the bestsellers list

there's a sucker born every minute.

And so it is almost done... or at least this stage:

The big question is do you think that Trump will get prosecuted for his involvement in January 6th Riots?

Unfortunately not.

I really have trouble grasping how the GOP is missing an opportunity to truly stomp him out. He screwed them in the midterms, demonstrating that his coattails are short/non-existent. They clearly don't want him as a candidate. Get on-board with a judicial process and make it easy on yourself. I used to think the parties were all about self-preservation first, but the GOP's handling of Trump has smashed that belief.

It's also been reported that some of the images were "lifted" from small clothing websites. For instance, the sheriff card has the same duster with the same folds/creases/tabs just in a different color as one that is on some clothing website.

The company selling this stuff address is a UPS Store mailbox in Utah. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!
When my husband told me about it I thought he was joking or read it on some satirical site. Nope. I found it funny when people who paid the $99.99 realized the card was a digital NFT. There's a sucker born every minute.

No. Especially now that the GOP will take over the House in two weeks. They will stonewall the January 6th investigations and probably end up investigating the January 6th Committee itself.

The GOP controlled House will only be able to investigate the investigation as the current Committee will finish its work and disband before the control change.

Once the Committee is finished, its evidence and product will be part of the public record and indisputable.

As soon as I thought this thing could not get any more ridiculous, I was proven wrong.

On a side note, I hear that there are rumblings that Biden and Harris are not getting along because Harris is trying to push for Biden to announce that he is not running for reelection. Part of this is with the intention of Harris using her current position as a springboard to get on the ticket.

Question is if it comes down to a Harris / DeSantis election, who wins?

Question is if it comes down to a Harris / DeSantis election, who wins?

In an age where political divide as still at an all time high, so many voters are already baked into their respective positions. With a shrinking pool of active independent votes, the margins will be very narrow and this will likely result in a very close election that comes down to turnout in key battleground states (maybe the Midwest, but maybe also the Southwest/Sunbelt).

If inflation and the employment rate stay more or less the same, I say Harris would have the advantage. If both drop dramatically in a deep recession, I would give the advantage to DeSantis. However, I am not convinced at this point either would go in as the favorite in a primary.

Harris just doesn't move the needle. She won't win a single new voter. If the Dems want to win they need to find a better candidate. And no, the sitting president is not a better candidate.
I don't think Harris gets the top billing. If Biden doesn't run, I could see someone else stepping up and having her as a VP again maybe.

Harris isn't going to win over the states that the D's need to win. But the D's have also put up Hillary, who was a terrible candidate... so who knows.

...if dems can manage to sink Trump's boat in perfect enough a storm, then he will take so many rats to the bottom with him that they can run a yellow dog and win.

<snip> And no, the sitting president is not a better candidate.
I’m not thrilled with Biden the man, but as president he’s gotten a boatload done and at that, with a couple of Republicans in Democrats’ clothing. And, his handling of Vladday Putin’s Special Military Operation in Ukraine has been masterful. Democrats could certainly do worse, IMO.

I don't disagree with anything you said. But the reality of it is he's going to be 82 years old when/if he's reelected and for lack of a better word, he comes across often as being slightly "dotty". I want to know that my President has full possession of his faculties.

Like a Yellow Lab? I'd probably vote for the dog regardless, because it will for sure be a 'very good dog!'

We live in a zone so red that the blue vote reliably gets about 25% of votes. That said, a daughter married a local man whose ancestors fought in the Revolutionary War, and were granted lands way before our state was gridded into "land lots" of 640 acres each, which defined a "section". A "quarter section" was 160 acres. Quarter that to get "forty and a mule".
Anyway that family still votes as members of the group called "yellow dog" that votes Democratic even if their candidate looks like Ole Yaller.

Soldiers from the War of 1812 were given similar land grants in my native region of northeastern lower Michigan. These grants were seldom ever seen by the grantee as that part of MI (then the Michigan Territory) was literal wilderness and only accessible by boat through the Great Lakes (Erie than Huron).

The lawsuits are still flying here in Arizona. The one for governor has no merit. The other one has a couple good points, but I think they're fishing.

That.

I would love to see a 40-50 year old President next. Someone who "gets" social media, but in a positive way, not a weird look at me Trump way.

I hope the Senate passes the budget this week. Our staff meeting call today was reviewing the protocol if there is a government shutdown. The House passed the budget but the Senators are bickering over immigration issues in trying to pass their budget.

Our area of GA was in the original 13 colonies, and surveys are based on historical "metes and bounds".

Incidentally my parcel contains .007 acres that my surveyor left off the plat, because figures past two decimals do not have to be recorded. That makes about 300 sf. In my garden is a ten foot radius circle that is marked and borded by a hedge and a grape arbor. Not recorded, it is a tiny patch of freed land.

The January 6th House Committee was just a smokescreen to keep the public off the back of the DOJ who are conducting their own investigation and already have most, if not all, the information and evidence presented by the committee. It's aim, besides letting the DOJ do its job, is to present the case to the American public but otherwise has nothing to do with prosecution.

I saw an article on Politico or one of those that said Biden will ask Harris to resign, appoint a better candidate (the article suggested Gavin Newsom), then Biden himself would resign to allow the appointee to run as incumbent. At first I was :D but then I was :doubtful: because I just don't think such obvious maneuvering would work.

But the D's have also put up Hillary, who was a terrible candidate... so who knows.
I agree; she was a terrible candidate. I really don't like her on a personal level. I think she would have been a better-than-competent president though.

What politician does get prosecuted for their crimes? Not many.

Voter fraud. By a Republican.

Y'all don't know real fraud...
