NEVERENDING ♾️ The NEVERENDING Bicycle Thread

Asked Hubby for a hitch and bike rack for our big family Xmas gift. He's saying it will be over $1000. 😭
What kind of rack? I put a hitch on the family truckster myself (you can watch install videos on the Curt youtube channel by model to see if your car is an easy or hard install). Once there's a receiver on the car you have your pick of $50-$200 hitch racks, as long as you are not trying to get all fancy with a OneUp or similar. Nevertheless I think I spent about $500 on the hitch kit and the rack and did all the work myself.

Ended up purchasing the Puckipuppy Beagle 2 & it came with the extra safety accessory pack (cover, lock, mirrors, bottle rack & phone rack) at no additional charge. It showed up 6 days earlier than expected.

Put it together on Saturday (rainy day). Rode it on Sunday about 2 miles (it was cold). Feels great but needs getting used to. It's a heavy bike & will take effort to load in the truck bed to go somewhere. The greenway/trail system here is not widespread, but there are a couple connections I can link into. I've already planned a couple rides of about 10 miles each when the weather says GO!
