There just aren't enough high-quality building exteriors along this commercial corridor: like, where's all the Dryvit?

I sure miss the days when we relied on microfilm and we'd get random FOIA requests for nonsensical things like "all residential building permits issued on streets starting with a vowel between 1968 and 1987."

Do you know what we need more of along this main street... pole signs and billboards.

Nothing is as delicious as a can of sardines.

I live for stress, and frankly, this job just doesn't create enough of it to suit me.

(at a public hearing)
"I'm sorry, I was going to say something, but in the interests of moving this meeting forward as expeditiously as possible I believe the point I was going to make has already been adequately covered by other residents."

"The thing that Cheektowaga really needs is to release 24 wild, breeding-age Jaguars at strategic points in both high and low-density neighborhoods. We'll call it "Take a Bite out of Crime" and get the Department of War to fund it!"

Monotone presentations on ethics, without pictures, right after a high carb lunch, in a very warm room, are the absolute best!
With no windows to distract you.

Off thread
Suffered through a conference session like that, who else?

I love 'death by Powerpoint' presentations....especially after a carb and protein heavy lunch.

:brofist:

Wood panel station wagons need to come back. They're cool.

Oh wait, Trans Sec Sean Duffy just said that. WOW.
Never mind.
