No cowboy boots or dress shoes for me.
I wore Merrell low hiking shoes. Better walking shoe.

The new job has two break rooms, unofficially called “introverts” and “extroverts.”

Guess which one I use?
Are there physical differences between the two rooms that might draw one type of person vs the other?

One has windows and a big table. The other is interior and has a book exchange and a couple small tables.

Both have fridges, microwaves, coffee, etc.
Let us guess, the one that's interior with the book exchange is the introvert room, and the big table where everyone can sit around and chitchat is the extrovert room

All you need for that two-table room to be truly attractive as an introvert's break room is a wall sign that says;

"Occupancy Limit, 2 Persons"

A friend of ours told us they went to a mexican restaurant that was recommended to them over the weekend. They said it didn't serve alcohol, which they didn't know about until after seated.

I questioned "no margaritas?" They said none.

My response was the only mexican restaurant that I know of that doesn't serve margaritas is called Taco Bell.

Now you know of two that don't serve margaritas.

There are actually some Taco Bells that do serve alcohol - look for a Taco Bell Cantina.

Pre-pandemic there were plans to open a couple of them here in Southeast Michigan, particularly in areas with a bit of nightlife and nighttime foot traffic but they ended up scrapping the plans.

IIRC, the one that was going to go into Royal Oak, MI got as far as building permits and obtaining their liquor license, but sadly it never came to fruition.

Ain't no one buying alcohol from Taco Bell. They water down the food. I'd hate to see what they do with the booze.

A pair of my daughters and their friends really like the Taco Bell Cantina in Las Vegas when they go, so maybe the boooze and food....no. Come to think of it, they are all probably waaaay past having credible opinions by the time they get to the Vegas Taco Bell Cantina.

Make good choices, folks.

National Park Service LEGO Vignettes FB posting

Enough was enough! The Section 106 and NEPA compliance took some time to get in order, but with that done everything was now good to go. The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch would finally put an end to the park’s problematic rabbit by blowing it to tiny bits. One

I hate it when I want an “online quote” for something, and then, when I have filled out the form, the last step is for a phone number and email address to receive the quote.

The paranoid me says that they will use that info to try to sell me the product, and/or spam constantly. Why not just provide the quote online and let me decide from there, and I’ll reach out if interested? So I just don’t give the info and look elsewhere. Unclear on the concept of “online quote.”

Paranoid me doesn't like that every business wants to send me text messages. That's like giving my number to telemarketers.

The QR code menus are getting to me.

Supposedly they are easier to update when things change or run out of an item. But the thing is - yOu HaVe To ChAnGe It. There's no advantage to have something easy to update if you don't change it.

I'm not sure if this video has made its way on to the board yet. But I've had a few people send it to me today. Cranford Town, NJ, Town Meeting.

I think people who are dancing should get extra time.

^^^ Above youtube - Cranford is the Town Next Door to my hometown.

So did this guy escape from your town or are they just weird over in the Town Next Door?
