I have just the name for our kazoo band:

The Planners
Here's a quick, unrefined image from ChatGPT depicting your kazoo band, had my phone call been longer, a lady in a red dress would have been the lead singer.

The only solar farm that I was involved with was very similar except we didn't have onsite battery storage or a decommissioning plan.

If this was in Western New York, it would be my dream neighborhood. Those junk gremlins are pretty cool.
AMC knew a good thing when they saw it.

If you HAD TO live in Toad Hop and could pick any dwelling as your home to live in, which one would you choose?

I
I received a very angry phone call yesterday from someone who said they have been trying to get a hold of me and said they sent me multiple e-mails. I looked in my box and was unable to find any of them. Finally, I discovered them in my junk mail folder, all from this week. I don't know if IT or Microsoft set up the rules for what goes into that folder, but I tend to get 20 to 30 emails a day in there so it is hard to keep up. I try to glance at it a couple times a month, but that is about it.

How often do you go through your junk or spam folder?
Only when I am expecting a password reset email or the like I don’t see in my regular box.

On a related note, I hate it when I say I will contact the person when I have more info, and then they call back to see if I have more info. Well, since I said I would call back when I had info, and I haven’t called back, you can therefore logically assume I don’t have any new info.

Yesterday's fun at the counter stories...

1. Our zoning team has approved a temporary use for a rave under the underpass. I guess it's an annual thing.
2. Had a lady move into the new trendy apartments. You know, the one that used to be a mall. She had to tell us all about why she picked this particular apartment in the complex because of her disability (I hate people trying to get sympathy) and now...a bar moved in downstairs. You know, in the retail area of the trendy apartments. To make it worse...the bar is using the outdoor area that is for the apartments and they're also using the indoor amenities for the apartments. I'm confused on how all the works, but it sounds like a leasing office problem to me.

Anyway, I know where a trendy bar is or a rave is you're interested.

This happens a lot or they have been trying to call for forever but there's only one call

I happen to be a morning person, even so, there are few things quite as annoying as rando strangers chirping "good morning" at you as you drudge your way into City Hall to complete the long and utterly thankless list of tasks awaiting you.

Getting a 22 year old refrigerator repaired is proving to be quite a challenge. The reason I'm not getting a new appliance is because of the dimensions of the space in which the fridge is located.

Planning Related, so perhaps not so random.

Take a look at this map. This is the first community north of the Wisconsin / Michigan boarder. Michigan legalized recreational marijuana. Wisconsin didn't. There are a few others that don't show up on the map yet as well. Lume Cannabis Co gets more than 28 Thousand customers a month... They are only now considering regulations to limit the number of cannabis businesses in the Town.

We just got back from a few days in the Cleveland-Akron area and when we drove up 75 into Michigan from Toledo, the first 28 billboards we saw (my daughter counted) were for dispensaries. :r:

I really do not care if folks want to use pot or THC-goods but does every single billboard in the area have to be an advertisement for it? I've noticed the same prevalence along 696 through Macomb County and 94 from downtown to Detroit all the way to Port Huron. I think pot is legal now in Ohio(?) so maybe some of the billboards along 75 will go away but I'd love to see the state put a clamp on the advertising in general.
