The island of Malé looks like something straight out of Sim City:

I feel like I'm watching a European cable access channel. It probably has to do with the accents from two of the presenters. I'm sure they're extremely qualified. Four planners and a planter.
My claim to fame, I met the lady in the red jacket at our last state conference. Nice lady, heavy accent.

I think the show should be called between 4 planners and we all listen to what the plant says.

The plant completes the set. Subtle, yet impacts the soul in a very deep way.

However gross it may be, but your business card works in a pinch
Phew! I knew I wasn't the only one to do that!
I've folded up a receipt more than once.

I’ve never understood the point of wanting a big tax refund. It’s not “free money”—you are just getting your own money back. All these places adverse “Maximum refund!”

Our bottom line is always close to $0, but sometimes with my 1099 income we do get a small refund or owe a bit.

Just like golf—low score wins. (And I do our taxes manually with paper and calculator. Haven’t been audited in 30 years, so I know what I’m doing.)

This is 100% the way to view taxes. My goal is to have as little a refund or owe as little as possible. I think I'm better with my money than others and I do my best to keep track of it. That said, unfortunately financial literacy in this country is a myth and so many people are unwilling or unable to save that they view their refund as just that; a savings account.

How many different color Sharpies do you have ?

I only have a Black Sharpie.

Yep, I usually get a couple bucks back, but I think this year I owe a little. I'm not the most financially savvy person, but I just ask my CPA what I should adjust my deduction to and do that.

Aren't you retired? Why would you need more than just a black sharpie. I have the usual red, black, blue, and even green. My wife has the multi-color pack hidden away from the children who will still steal them if they knew they existed.

a Prismacolor 24 pack & a Sharpie 12-color pack with both ultra and fine tips - I like to color render

The Progressive insurance commercial where the dude keeps yelling "High Tide!" as UofA players exit a bus planted a seed in my brain to download The Outlaws "Green Grass and High Tides". I worry about my elderly brain, sometimes.:what:

I have a problem. When I see markers on sale at Office Depot I compulsively buy them. Most recently I picked up the Sharpie Creative markers. They're water based acrylic and look work better for rendering. Now if I could only draw.

I am trying to understand that in this day and age, how a military helicopter can collide with a commercial airplane. With the level of technology that we have today, something like this should not happen.
I'm guessing the ego of the helicopter pilot. It does happen. B-52 crash at Fairchild AFB in the 1990s. Hot-dogging pilot that had a reputation of pushing the boundaries. My brother was a CH-53D Marine pilot so not trying shed any negative light on the military.

There are old pilots, and there are bold pilots, but there are no old bold pilots! (Common witticism)

Today is also National Croissant Day if that is helpful
Can we draw a dinosaur eating a croissant?

AIB lp posting a gif of CBS's show Ghosts, who likes that show ?
We love "Ghosts." Strangest show on television.

But we think the character Nancy is incredibly annoying. She needs to be sucked off or written out.
