Spiders are cool and we leave them top themselves to the point hat I hate vacuuming them up with their cobwebs in the basement.

But House Centipedes can die in a fire.

Agreed 100%.

For the most part, spiders don't bother me but centipedes are another story!

They are scary and disgusting and I hate them. Every once in a while I'll see one in the house and I then go on a mission to eliminate it... unfortunately I don't really care to even pick them up after I smoosh them. If I kill one early in the morning and I'm the only one awake I'll leave it under the shoe I used when I leave for work and let my wife worry about it. I usually use the excuse that I was on my way out the door when I killed it and didn't have time to clean it up before I had to leave for work. I don't think she really buys that, but the centipedes don't bother her as much as they do me.

I go buy ladybugs periodically to eat the aphids. They are cute, but they are voracious predators and eat things three times their size. Luckily, they are harmless to humans.
