Put the PE uniform over the furry suit. Also, I am sure that their is a otter onsie pajama set out there for sale somewhere.

The uniform looks great over the furry. This was proven years ago:

Itty Bitty would like to know if Idina Menzel was just a guest on Glee or a recurring character. And in what context was she on Glee.
Idina Menzel had a very recurring role in two of the seasons: she was the director of the show choir at a rival high school (I forget the name of the HS, but the show choir was called "Vocal Adrenaline". In a ginormous plot twist she turns out to be Rachel Berry's BIRTH MOTHER (Rachel has two gay dads, one played by Jeff Goldblum) which nobody knew until worlds collided. She wants a baby, and ends up ADOPTING Quinn and Puck's baby, Beth (Puck likes KISS).

She was fantastic. We loved her on Glee. There's an episode where she and Rachel Berry sing the duet from Wicked, For Good - I cry, it's so beautifully done. Holy cow, the pipes on those two ladies. :)

I am the world's oldest Gleek. No regrets.

You are amazing! Itty Bitty will love all this great info! ❤️❤️❤️

Anyone want to help out with some exciting impact fee documentation?

that could go downhill very fast, yikes

maybe have her go as a furry
My 8 year old was so captivated by the furry ears, mask, paws, and tails for sell by a vendor at the last art festival. They were much better than the little cat ears she has from the dollar store.

These were obviously designed for adults and her grandmother wanted to buy them. Luckily the price was high enough she decided not to

People have always said "you'll cut yourself more with an old blade". Well I guess I'm just special because I swear I nick myself just about every time I switch to a new razor blade. :blood::bloodyface:

I always heard that as "with a dull blade" and it's true when using a knife to cut things up: A sharp blade cuts cleanly into the object being cut, while a dull blade can slide along the surface and maybe to the fingers holding the object.

A firefighter's funeral is today. I always cry for those, even if I didn't know the person. Emergency vehicles are lining up in town and the procession will pass under an arch of two ladder trucks extended over the street. The final call is sad.
I'm sorry to hear. I'm the same way -- I am a sympathetic crier in these situations.

In Indy
A 66-foot replica of the Eiffel Tower is being installed on the corner of Georgia Street and Capitol Avenue to welcome those traveling to the Circle City for the U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials.

I mowed the grass and trimmed a couple trees over the weekend but did not wash the cars.

is it a thing to have close family friends be in attendance when you are getting engaged, like, when you are being asked to marry the person

Just read an article about a county in Michigan that is reviewing their travel policies. Apparently they had a single employee who spent more than 80 days (80!) attending conferences and spent over 50K in doing so. It's idiots like that who ruin it for everyone else who is smart about their travel and actually use conferences to learn something.

Someone had to approve those trips. That's where the problem is.

From an article:

The locked-down procedures come after MLive/The Ann Arbor News reported county Racial Equity Officer Alize Asberry Payne spent at least 80 days traveling to conferences and events in 2022 and 2023, including a trip to Germany and multiple four- and five-star hotel stays exceeding $600 a night, according to credit card records.

Between 2022 and March 2024, Asberry Payne used her county card for $18,186.82 in flights under her name, $25,577.97 in personal lodging charges at conferences and $5,904.46 in Uber rides, according to the credit card statements.

This comes on the heels of a nearly $40 million multi-year theft from the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy by its CFO.

And I thought I was taking advantage when I went to state and national flood and planning conferences. Now I just get $1k/year to pay my dues and go to conferences. So just state stuff for me.

Impact of the Teton Pass landslide

Crippling Commute

What is a fairly commonplace headache event for commuters in winter has become an unthinkable nightmare for the town of Jackson.

Jackson has two bedroom communities. The high cost of living and lack of affordable housing has driven a significant portion of the workforce to Alpine and further south (collectively known as Star Valley).

A larger chunk of workers live in Victor and Driggs in Idaho (known broadly as Teton Valley).

Teton Pass serves not only as a mere convenience, travel over it is a vital economic concern. Of the two dozen Teton County Sheriff’s Office deputies, for instance, three live in Jackson.

Half the rest commute from Teton Valley, the other half from Star Valley. Nearly half the Jackson Police Department force also commutes from Idaho.

St. John’s Health, the valley’s largest employer, is also heavily dependent on a workforce commuting from Teton Valley. Spokesperson Karen Connelly said an estimated one-third of the hospital’s employees drive the pass to work. St. John’s is actively assessing the impact of the closure and discussing short-term housing solutions.

Both commutes from Teton Valley and Star Valley feature noteworthy traffic during rush hours in the morning and afternoon. The alternate reroute to get motorists from Teton Valley, Idaho, to Jackson takes significantly longer.

The typical car trip from Victor to Jackson is 24 miles covered in about 35-40 minutes. With the closure of Highway 22 over Teton Pass, that detour through Swan Valley to Alpine and then up the Snake River Canyon is 85 total miles with an estimated 1 hour and 41 minutes of driving time.

Before starting the scheduled 2:00 nature walk, the Rangers of Ni had demanded “A SHRUBBERY!!!”
Luckily, a family from Kansas had checked the park’s website ahead of their visit and came prepared. #FindYourNi #Ni

As a child when I was home from school due to sickness (cough cough), I liked watching Wok with Yan more than Yan Can Cook.

I have some really "comfy" memories being home sick with the humidifier running and making happy steam while I watched "Cover to Cover" or "Reading Rainbow". I read all of "Bridge to Terabithia" once when I was home sick. Do you need to ask me if I cried? You don't. I'm crying remembering. :)
