20+ years ago, I worked in a different position at the company I'm at now. Recently, that team contacted me to ask me questions about a test report from something I worked on. I told them I didn't remember anything that was not in the test report. Sorry.

I don't want to get weepy at 8:25 a.m. MST, but knowing all of you makes my life better. I know I'm pathetic, the world has made that abundantly clear, but this place is something special. The table is magic. It is. Here's to you, @Maister, because you are a big, big part of what makes the table magic.

There is a Townhome on my way to work that likes to put up different opinion banners on their balcony. There has been a cease-fire sign up occasionally over the past few months, but I saw something new today. "Groundhog Day is Animal Abuse". I am going to laugh if I see it up tomorrow too.
 
Hey what's everyone up to this weekend? I have an ice cream and waffle party to go to tomorrow morning (and it's for adults - it's what this couple we know do for their anniversary - I live on an island, people, come on) and then I have an adult birthday dinner Sunday night at a local restaurant

Almost you convince me to become an adult. These activities sound...pleasant. Tell me, adult woman, will there be conversations at these activities? Conversations that do not involve Naruto or Attack on Titan? I yearn for those kinds of conversations at meals...

Yes the conversations may include weather/recent storms, people's travel plans, our adult children's lives, and likely this year's election cycles, possibly other discussions about upcoming cultural events

I am. So jealous. So very, very jealous. Your assignment, should you choose to accept it, is to work how the painting "Starry Night" makes you think of something unrelated into the conversation. This should be relatively simple, unless it is not a starry night on your island....

We're having a family pizza dinner tonight. I'm going on a hike, no, a saunter, with friends at a state park tomorrow. Mandolin lessons are on Sundays, but if I'm awake early enough, I may go to the Irish store.
 
Anyone in need of lemons, grapefruit, key limes, oranges, or that mystery fruit that looks like a jacked up lemon - it might be a bitter orange. Come on down to DVDs fruit stand. I've got bags of the stuff ready to give away.

A saunter!? an Irish store?! The way your weekend sounds you will probably walk past an estate sale, and buy a book. An old hardback copy of Greyfriars Bobby, rough condition. When you go to shelve it, you'll thumb through, and out will fall an old letter. And your weekend that couldn't get better, will get better.

If I didn't know me better, I'd think I might now be thinking about producing a number of fake letters, aging them with techniques I learned watching that documentary about Mark Hoffman, and slipping them into random books at estate and library sales. You gotta have a hobby. :)

Getting together with my successor at my old job and his wife tomorrow at a bar/board game place to just have a relaxed evening...then having the reality check of calling hours and funeral for my uncle on Sunday/Monday.
 
I rode my bike to breakfast today- 20 miles round trip (which is shorter than usual, very damp and gray early in the morning).

I skipped breakfast and putzed around the house so I think we are even in the net calorie department.
 
DVDs free fruit stand is down to about 10 pounds of lemon. Lots of happy customers. I love the lady who was super picky and checked everything like it wasn’t free.
 
Oh yeah. The ducks are still here but are annoyed at the weed spraying and leaf blowing. It’s disturbing their staycation. I guess I’ll have to take it off their bill.

Wheel sizes from 16-29" are represented. Within that, I only DON'T have 451 wheels (it's a weird 20" size different from 406 which is the bmx size), 28" wheels (but somehow a tire for one, don't know how that got in there), and 650b/27.5 wheels.

When I am overtired sometimes I get a headache in my eye - I had done dry January (and refined sugars too) so having a sugary drink and chocolate cake on top of it was like whoa since I hadn't had either since New Year's Eve!
 
My bike count is 3.
Cruiser for the kid so they could ride it to school, but they don't so I should just sell it.
Cruiser for the kid that rode it for a while then wanted to fix it up so now it's fixed up and they don't ride bikes any more so I should probably sell it.
Oversized clown bike.
