Family 👪 Post pics of your kids, yourself, and your pets - Part II

Some more pictures before she gets too old - I think she aged 3 years in the 10 hours I was back at work yesterday! :(

She's got longer, thicker hair than I do already!

I tried to get an action shot but she wasn't too interested in the bowling ball or mountain bike I got her... so a sock monkey will have to suffice for now...

And one with the proud parents!

OMG she's so tiny ... SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!

Congratulations!

That picture makes her look much smaller than she really is because her legs are all folded up and her knees are almost all the way up to her chin... she really likes to fold herself up into a little ball. I think she's actually grown about 3" since we got her (she is about 23" now according to my amateur measurements). She's also gained about 4 pounds in less than 3 weeks already!

My youngest's latest kill. ZG mentioned that he's looking more like me as he ages. Poor kid.

BTW, I don't condone the killing.

Not sure if I am posting the pictures correctly, but here it goes...

Edit: it worked!

Haha! Their real names are Xander and Sassy but we think that Mr.Stinky and Chunks are just as suitable and the dogs don't seem to mind ;)

You do realize that it is not a dog? Never-the-less, she is cute.

Yes well the meowing instead of woofing gave that away ;):D
I am not at home enough to have a dog, plus i dont have a side or front fence to keep one in- so i went for a very good alternative. She is delightful, but i have left her home alone today and i am worried about her!

Dogs should be allowed in the workplace. Right now, working from home, that is no problem. In fact, Luke, my new intern, will even travel with me when I am working on projects (which are often several states away). He enjoys the field work. When we grow large enough to have an office I will welcome dogs as long as they get along with everyone else's. Can I make dog guardianship a requirement of employment?

I agree i love having pets around- but your not guaranteed of each ones temperament and there will be someone that is allergic to dogs and cats as well.

I, and other employees, have occasionally brought their dogs into work. It really does improve office moral. Last week the Mayor brought in his two little doggies. It was pretty cute to see them following him around the office like the rest of his minions. ;)

TexanOkie had fun with Guinness and Bailey. Unfortunately, the building clerk and one of the building inspectors didn't much care for dogs.

My dog is getting his ears cleaned out today.
Hopefully he will regain some of his hearing. So maybe he will stop his screaming.

I tried to bring my pet to the office once. It did not go over very well. It turns out badgers are very defensive and mean! :)

Every few weeks or so there will be a random dog of one of our staff members in our office. I always love it and I have never heard any complaints. My favorite was when somebody brought in an Irish Wolfhound every morning for about a week. It was very well behaved so we started letting it leave the cube and roam around as it wanted. It was great to see the reactions on people's faces who didn't work on our floor but decided to cut through and out would come this very large, slightly spooky looking dog. 8-! :lmao:

Congrats Gpa! I find it amazing that they swaddle babies in the same sheets no matter what hospital in the US you are at... :)
