Family 👪 Post pics of your kids, yourself, and your pets - Part II

The first picture is of me at my grandma's house with my little cousin. The second is my cute Boston Terrier McLovin. He's my partner in crime and snuggle buddy.

Here is a recent photo of me with my boys and dog. The little guy, Nathan, joined us on 9/4/09 and the other two, Luke and Mark, are 2.25 and 1. Oh, and Darcy (the Lab) is 5.5.

Super cute mendelman! How are the older boys adjusting to the baby?

This one is a few years old, but this is my son - The Berserker - along the Going-To-Sun Road, in Glacier National Park

Luke (the 2 yr old) understands to be gentle with Nathan and in general is a sweet, outgoing, friendly and empathic child, so he took a liking to Nathan immediately.

Mark (the 1 yr old) is too young to understand what's happening and thinks Nathan is just another thing to play with. So we have to watch him to make sure he doesn't try to climb on Nathan or something.

Last weekend we rode the Virginia Creeper Trail - a 34 mile mile rails-to-trails path in sw Virginia. Fall colours were great, but it was kinda chilly and wet. Anyway, here we are at the Green Cove station. If you ever get the chance, ride this trail!

Veloise is proud to have played a small role in the Trail-a-bike acquisition!

^^ Is she giving him the look in the second pic because he has his hand on her @$$ in the first?;)

rofl...thanks for pointing that out. The look in the second picture is more par for the course lol. One of my dear friends says he feels sorry for my future son-in-law whoever he may be.

The boys and me. I think they were happy to see me.

I will never understand the camo thingy.

Alex had walked into a wall a couple of days earlier. That explains the knot on his forehead. His passion for wine is genetic...from his old man.

^^Good-lookin' trio there, RJ!

It was my father's regular casual attire for years.

That... is called a photoshop begging to happen! Hmmm... Where can I put RJ this time?

In the disturbing and unfavorable words of TO, "It is what it is." :-@

I took my chances and await the humiliation. 8-! :-|

EDIT: You gotta admit, I'm a good looking SOB. ;) :D ;)

My 7 and 5 year old at Bear Lake. New to posting pictures so I'll figure it out and post one with all six of the little troublemakers in it.

All four of my girls and their collection of American Girl dolls...I could probably sell those dolls and retire early...

The choice of clothing does not seem to match the decor. Was that picture taken in 1963 or was your father's house mid-century modern even when mid-century modern was no longer cool... and then when it was again too?

Here's my family:

I hope she's a bit more human looking now considering that she will be disrupting our lives later this month.

He got his first set of fatigues during Army service (stationed in France in the 50s) and wore them for yard work until about 1986, when sis-the-doc signed up to work at a base burn unit. She provided the outfit in technical fabrics.

Photo is from the mid 90's; from the viewpoint, I can tell my mother took it. The house was contemporary when they built it in the 60s, and it still is.

If my mother had taken the picture, he would have lost the top of his head or one side of his face. She never learned how to compensate for viewfinders that weren't through the lens.

My 6 kids. From the left, Evie, Luke, Kailee, Shane, Addie and Hailyn (Madame President). This is at a ghost town in southern Utah called Grafton.

I really don't have any photos of me from the past year, except maybe my driver's license.

This one's about two years old, taken with my then-SO. (We're still good friends.)

My alopecia was acting up at the time.

My son and I in the canoe down in Big Bend NP in Texas last summer. And my daughter, 4, petting baby bunnies at the Santa Fe Grower's Market this past June. She gains most of her sustenance from cuteness...

There is a wife, too. She prefers not to be represented...

As a vet, I know that it's harder on the home folks than the soldier. Hang in there.

I can concur, as a non-vet. My bro-in-law has been deployed to Afghanistan since March. Every time I talk to him via the internet he's more concerned about how my wife (his sister) is doing, than what's going on over there.

Well, I haven't done one in a whille, but here are my boys from this summer: Luke (3 years), Mark (23 months), Nathan (11 months)
