Carteret County is currently hiring for Planning and Development Director to lead our planning and inspection staff.
The Director will lead a team of sixteen with two office locations to serve our Crystal Coast communities. In addition to traditional planning, code enforcement, and building inspection services this department is also involved in many projects that involve non-profit, state and federal partners.
Expected hiring range is $120,000 - $140,000 and the primary office is in Morehead City.
