Pedestrian/bicycle traffic counters - recommendations sought

I am currently looking for a pedestrian/bicycle counter for installation along a local trail. I am seeking recommendations on specific units to consider. We are in an urban area, so invisibility is important. Since we have weather issues here, we would probably take the counters in for the winter months. That might have an impact on the type of mount that works best for us. Any recommendations as to units you have used and liked, or disliked? Thanks,

I've had good luck with Trafx infrared trail counters. The counters are pretty easy to hide in vegetation (though difficult to truly secure), or you could rig an electrical box and attach to a utility pole. Their customer service has always been very good, even though they're a small company.

That being said, if I had the opportunity to buy new counters, I'd go with Eco-Counter products. I think their prices are competitive and they seem to have the most complete line of products, knowledgeable staff, and dedication to non-motorized counting.
