The Great Throbbing Brain.
Question for you all. Is a Master's in Real Estate necessary to break into the real estate development and analysis industry. I feel whole-heartedly that being an real estate analyst will be a great for me. I do not have any contacts in that industry yet, so I can't talk to anybody doing real estate analyses. Johns Hopkins offers a wonderful Master's program in Real Estate with several track programs. I do have a Bachelor's in Urban Studies and a Master's in City and Regional Planning.

Especially if you don't have connections in the field. I may be getting a Master's in Land Development at Texas A&M starting in the fall. I'm thinking the networking opportunities will be invaluable in a job search.
