Wife and I watched all 3 seasons (so far) of The Last Kingdom. If you like dramatized historical shows a la "Outlander" set in Medieval period you will like it (no time travel, though). It follows the attempted Dane/Viking conquest of Great Britain and how the Saxons battled them back led by Alfred the Great (with a help of a fictionalized Saxon turned Dane who was betrayed). A little Game of Thronesy, too (sex and violence). Plus, it has Vikings. I rate it 4/5.
Cowboy Bebop was interesting and a bit disturbing. Different set of cultural norms over there.8-!:-c
Errrrrrrr-this is a family show and I'll leave it at that.8-!
I'm not seeing what you are I guess. I haven't finished the series, I'm on the last 2 episodes, but I haven't seen anything "family" related if I get your drift. There is apparently a live action adaption coming out.
Meant to say that it isn't a family show and I didn't want to get to the reasons why on this website that's all. Sorry for the lack of clarity.
OHHHH. I totally thought you meant there was some weird twist that had some brother/sister love or something wild like that. I dunno, it's definitely not a family show, but it's not what I would call "bad". There's much worse on regular cable today.

started watching Turn
We started watching GLOW on NetFlix a couple days ago and are about 5 or 6 episodes in and I am loving it. My wife is tolerating it.
I vaguely remember watching the actual GLOW wrestling show back in the '80s and as much of a fan of WWF that I was I knew GLOW was something different and extra cheesy. None of us (me, my brothers, and sisters who all loved WWF) thought GLOW was any good. It was just cringe-worthy. The NetFlix show is just as cringe-worthy, but in a good way. Marc Maron and Alison Brie are both great but the side characters are what makes it fun, especially Britney Young (Machu Picchu), Gayle Rankin (Sheila the She-Wolf), and Sunita Mani (Beirut the Mad Bomber).
Season 5 of Orphan Black!
Also watching American Gods. I recently read the book (really, really enjoyed it) and the TV show tracks along nicely.
And just finished re-watching season 6 of Game of Thrones so that I can be prepared for the new season.
I wasn't going to watch the final season Orphan Black. After a rough asthma day Friday, I just went home and chilled. I ended up watching the first 3-4 episodes and will probably finish it. So far, it's one of the better season.
Been watching Always Sunny in Philadelphia on Netflix. I've seen a lot of episodes already, but it's definitely worth watching again. Hilarious show.
One episode left in season one of Strike Back, should be able to start season two tonight...
Hasn't been my favorite season of it - I'm probably just irritated that this is the last season of Orphan Black.

So far, it's been about tying up loose ends and advancing the mythology. Hopefully, they will give us a satisfactory close.
I'm getting the 30 day free Hulu thing so I'm binging on Battlestar Galactica. I think I'll hit up some Vikings and Hand Maid's Tale. Anything else?
Finished Father Brown, on to Shetland. Have to admit, I have some difficulty with the strong accents for some of the actors. But it does make me pay attention . . .

So we're almost done with Shetland. What a great show. I like how the character Jimmy Perez defies the usual genius investigative mastermind trope. He has none of the ego associated with a Sherlock Holms or a Hercule Poirot, and he's not wily like a Lt. Columbo who lures you into underestimating him. He's bright, devoted, and has good instincts.
What I like most about the show, though, has more to do with how much one learns about the climate, culture, and people that live on those remote islands in the inhospitable North Sea.
Episode 8 was freaking great (clone swap!), and I'm good with how the season/series ended.
I just heard they were ending Longmire. Netflix will show one more season and then they're done
The 4th season of Bojack Horseman was released Friday. I'm about halfway through and it's fantastic. Just as awesome as the first three seasons (so far, the 3rd season is my absolute favorite).
Is it a comedy? Drama? What's the premise?Okay, I'm telling you now: If you haven't been watching BoJack Horseman, you need to. It superficially will drill a hole all the way into your soul.
Not sure how else to describe it.
It's gonna be hell waiting for Season 5.

Oh, and the clip above is for his "old show", and is purposely cheesy.
I love Horsin' Around and think it's the perfect riff on cheesy late '80s and '90s ABC TGIF stuff like Perfect Strangers and Full House and Family Matters. I keep hoping they'll do a season arc that includes a few full length episodes of Horsin' Around or maybe secretly drop them into Netflix to be found on their own.
Have you seen the Horsin' Around Christmas Episode?
