Gotta love the garage door guy just now. He was on speaker with my wife, and he said “Your problem is ‘x.’ For $150 I can half-ass fix it and it will work for you without the clunk, or for $300 we can just fix the whole thing and you’ll be good as new.”

No question. We don’t do “half-ass,” but I love his terminology. Do the full fix.
