1. I would like to be right for once.
2. Well actually have everyone else realize that.
3. I spend so much time in life reminding people of it.
4. They just keep thinking they are right.
5. Which is exhausting...

3. That I didn't just fall off the truck.
4. Sometimes it's so good to get home
5. Wish I spoke French.
 
1. I got a new desk chair
2. The new guy seems to be working out so far
3. The opening segment of the Daily Show was hilarious (& scary) last night
4. We have to fill out travel request forms now and submit them in 'quintricate' (5 copies)
5. There will be no "L" for the Gators this weekend
 
1. There are few things I would say I love.
2. I do like a lot of stupid stuff though.
3. I am excited about our soon to be finished renovation plans
4. We are probably going to start in February.
5. I am not looking forward to having to move out of my house. At all.

1. The necklace I'm wearing today came from the gift shop at Arthurdale.
2. Today is one of those days where I have to be a parent when I'd rather have fun.
3. My house is now holding cold temps instead of holding summer heat.
4. Do young ladies still go to charm school?
5. Someone made us some peanut butter cupcakes.
 
1. I am doubled booked for meetings this afternoon - sorry transportation, historic renovation wins out (& needs more babysitting)
2. A Blazing Saddles reference just went over a couple staff members heads
3. I wonder if Ted Lasso is going to be the next NUFC manager
4. I see a big sloppy cheeseburger in my future for lunch
5. Laefest in Durham tomorrow night! I expect everyone to show up. Meet me in the bar beach_bum
 
1. I'm feeling a little slap-happy today, and my coworkers are making it even better.
2. Tonight is scholarship/financial aid night at the local Penn State campus.
3. Eleven voice mails and many calls greeted me after a long weekend.
4. Interesting trucks drive in and out of the concrete plant next door.
5. My shoes look like bowling shoes.

1. I will be there if I can get out from under a pile of deadlines

1. I have lost 16 lbs since adopting a new fitness program in early August
2. Time to sell some books. We're overstocked
3. It would be nice if more hospitals adopted the Cleveland Clinic model
4. Gas was $3.06/gallon this a.m.
5. City government is all about the 3 S's: Sanitation, Streets, and Safety
 
1. Cleaning out the attic of the old house - not sold but got me some renters
2. After last night's PB mtg, there's going to be a shakeup on packet maps & graphics
3. There sure is a lot going on in life right now
4. Heard some great and wonderful things at the conference, unfortunately many will go unused here
5. There's a weekend happening that I'm not too excited about happening (or going to)
 
1. Mrs. P woke me up at 5:00 am because it was raining & she was afraid
2. There are a ton of acorns in the yard
3. My hamstring is sore from soccer last night, hobbling around this morning
4. Going through old boxes is time consuming, but is also fun to some extent
5. I missed Oktoberfest in town last weekend
 
1. I slept poorly for the past week. I could use some shut eye.
2. It's supposed to rain every day this week
3. I guess that's fall weather for you
4. New software training every day this week too
5. Saturday can't come soon enough.
 
5. I am not a big fan of being a planning department of one.
4. I couldn't sleep last night so I watched videos of tall vehicles going under a low train trestle.
3. I gave my oldest daughter cash for lunch money and I asked for a receipt. She sent me a selfie with the cafeteria cashier holding the twenty.
2. I am tired of this rainy weather.
1. My raincoat has a leak, I need to re-waterproof it or get a new one.
 
1. Went "camping" this weekend in a cabin.
2. It is sad how little funding national and state parks get.
3. It is pretty clear in Ohio, that they are underfunded.
4. I love fall in Ohio.
5. I don't think people who don't live here understand the smells, sights, and sounds of fall in the Midwest.
 
1) The blood pressure meds seem to be working, but anxiety seems to be an unwelcome and unexpected side effect.
2) The printer in my office is possessed, so I get to run down stairs to the general office every time I print something.
3) A friend of mine is being imprisoned by his over controlling wife. It is sad.
4) Wife said that she wants to run a 10K with me next spring. I think we are both looking forward to it.
5) The local grocery story (locally owned and everyone makes more than minimum wage), has a deli counter that has the best lunch specials.
 
1. Who else likes Firecracker chocolate bar?
2. My sneakers look like bowling shoes, according to a coworker.
3. The grass might not have to be cut again this year.
4. Son #1 is seeing Huey Lewis and the News tonight.
5. I have a pulled muscle in my shoulder. Ouch.
 
1. My level of cleaning is not up to Mrs. P's level, but she said she appreciated the effort & help
2. AIB beach_bum - I have 3 agenda items coming in November
3. My project architect is slow, but I knew that. Just gotta keeping poking
4. Brother going to Game 1 tonight. Yes I'm jealous, but he's in KC & I'm not
5. A lead foot is useless unless you have the horsepower to back it up
 
Summary of my 5 agenda items:
1. Rezone-online petition against the use of microbrewery and microdistillery bc its near an elementary school. Signs were posted in the car pool lane today with the elected emails. Should be a good show tonight.
2. Rezone-large 100+acre mixed use project near major intersection. This is the biggest impact item, yet they will spend the least amount of time on it.
3. Rezone-add microbrewery as a use to an under construction mixed use buiding in mixed use neighborhood. A lady nearby (800 ft. away) is allergic to hops...should be a nice medical debate.
4. Subdivison-developer didn't do enough deed research, modifications needed
5. Subdivison where we are asking for a stub street that the developer doesn't want to do...I'm sure our Council won't make him since he give alot to their campaigns.
 
1. Long day. Still have a couple hours to go.
2. I love Christmas music.
3. I would play piano Christmas music in the mall if I were good enough.
4. I might even wear a Santa costume.
5. Probably not though.
 
1. Pittsburgh had no trash collection today because of a funeral for an employee who was shot on his way to work.
2. Big scandal in state government resulting in high level resignations and suspensions.
3. I've spent more work days in dress clothes than in field clothes.
4. My mom fell and cut her leg badly.
5. Time to make some dinner!

3. Hey beach_bum, there's a big cocktail party this weekend in your hometown (but you already knew that)
4. I sure will be happy in a week when I don't have to listen to all those shi++y campaign ads anymore

1. Junior would like to take up rocketry as a hobby. That means I get to "help" Oh goody!
2. The cub scouts were going to do a trail walk around a swamp this evening but it's been raining on and off much of this morning. Probably not such a good idea at this point
3. Dontcha just love it when people get all mad/antsy about volunteer work you're doing? You got no right to complain about any "deadline" it's free! :r:
4. Salted peanuts sound good right now

1. The bosses are away so the mice will play! Its peak fall leaf season, so it's gorgeous outside!

4. I'm early voting today, so I can ignore further attempts to sway this moderate R who is very disillusioned by the tea party/social conservative iteration of the R Party
5. I don't have a team in the world serious, but a hometown connectiion in Country Breakfast!
 
1. Making up 5 things because people are EMPHATIC about it.
2. Was late to group breakfast so I had to sit next to the commissioners.
3. They talked about where long gone landfills were around the city.
4. They talked about some guy who sold property to some guy who has had buffalo on the property for a long time.
5. I had chicken and waffles and didn't talk.
 
1. My wife has hired an interior decorator.
2. This displeases me to no end.
3. I don't like having people tell me how to live.
4. That and I don't think many people can pull off wearing a sweater over their shoulders.

2. I thought about something to type here but now forgot
3. I don't care who is elected now - just thrilled there will be no more f-ing advertisements on the tv, computer, phone, billboards and litter signs
4. I had 4 items on last nights BOC agenda: 5-0, 5-0, 5-0, 4-1 & the one just wanted to make a statement about receiving federal dollars
5. I haven't figured out what statement he was trying to make, but he's off the board in a month
 
1. Have Election Day off as a holiday.
2. Voted early last week.
3. Don't know what I will accomplish today.
4. Decided to go out for lunch not at Arby's.
5. Have a good day.
 
1. My county's schools are out for Election Day.
2. I'm in the office today, for once.
3. I really should come into the office a little more often.
4. The D's senatorial candidate (Michelle Nunn) was on the MARTA train car behind mine this morning with a camera crew.
5. I might walk next door for some really good sushi for lunch today (see #3 above).

2. I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving this year; I truly need a 4 day weekend right now
3. I so can't wait for this freakin' election to be over
4. We're supposed to get an extra hour of sleep with the time change, but somehow I still feel tired like I somehow lost sleep

1. This LASIK stuff is crazy. Seriously crazy.
2. I am going to try and lose 15-20 lbs.
3. Really all that I am going to do it exercise consistently.
4. That will work for me, I am just too lazy to do it.
5. Indoor soccer league starts on Friday. That is going to hurt....

3. The poll workers were 3 old ladies and the troll woman who used to be my neighbor.
4. I'm a terrible liar, but can deliver the truth so gently you don't know it hit you.

1. It takes 4 planners 3 hours to remove 11 radiators from an old school building
2. This month has gotten close tot he end very quickly
3. Thursday is our 15th wedding anniversary
4. My truck passed inspection which I was worried because I don't drive as much as I used to
5. I really want a milkshake right now, even though its cold outside
 
1. Jingle Bell time is a swell time to go riding in a one horse sleigh.
2. Looking for new permitting software is a hassle.
3. Night meetings are a hassle.
4. I ate pizza for lunch. That makes me feel heavy.

1. I can identify with that "my vehicle passed inspection" relief.

3. My town has Light Up Night in a couple of days.
4. I hear that Thanksgiving is soon.

2. I have to bake cookies for the office pot-luck lunch on Wednesday - making the school fund raiser cookie dough cookies

1) I fear for the future of our country.
2) I have some type of cold bug and feel like crap. But I came to work because my office is isolated from everyone else.
3) Ordered a new wireless router for my house yesterday. The comcast one I have now sucks.
4) I might go to one of the protests this evening with a sign saying "No More Mystery Meat in Schools" and see if anyone actually pays attention.
5) I have to fill out 21 pages of questions which are intended to be used against me in court next month.
 
1. I got an invitation to a once-in-a-millennium party on 12-13-14. Cool!
2. We have a really cool new coworker.
3. Sausage gravy is pretty yummy.
4. I'm cooking on Thursday and probably won't see the inside of a car.
5. Yesterday's wind blew away the homeless guy's blankets and tarp, but it looks like he recovered them.
 
1. Hubby is cooking dinner tonight. :)
2. It's supposed to snow tomorrow.
3. I'm bringing veggies and dip for Thanksgiving, and I don't have to cook - yay!
4. I wish my mother-in-law would make her stuffed artichokes.
5. I will NOT be shopping on Black Friday.
