1. I need to find another video game or mind numbing agent.
2. I have become sentimental. I am not sure if I like that.
3. John Legend is really talented. I have been listening to more of his music.
4. I want BBQ for dinner.
5. Long list of items that need completed this weekend...
 
1. It seems like it has been an extraordinarily long week.
2. Cold as it has been, I'd still like one good, deep snowfall.
3. My arm is healing, with only a yikes! bruise rather than the original "HOLY CRAP!!" bruise.
4. A monthly conference call I participate in is snooze-inducing and there's nothing I can do about it.
5. Danmark has a dozen athletes at Sochi, which is twelve times the number of medals the country has won in Winter Games ('98 Silver Women's Curling).
 
RT is at a LEED training today, she sent me a text message saying that she had "mad respect" for me being a project manager ;)
I'm beginning to hate the plumber that we've used on all our projects. This is the last job he will do for me. Screwed one too many times.
I will be spending the rest of my day flogging the spreadsheets. Those numbers are going to be screaming for when it's all over.
I could have a second career in forgery. Don't ask.
I hope this weekend's forecasted 2-4" of snow will be the last of the season.

3. it's great not to be taken very seriously, but the lack of respect that comes with the territory can sometimes be troublesome
4. a giant purple grape just left the office
5. I know hand sanitizer is supposed to kill germs more effectively than soap and water, but for some reason I still find myself wishing a sink was nearby after using sanitizer.
 
1) I am going to listen to the USA v Canuckistan online this afternoon (USA USA USA USA USA USA....)
2) I have no tolerance for stupid people today... and I need to go get lunch in a little bit
3) Found a way to lock my phone or iPad to keep an app open... (take that little people I call my children!)
4) We finalized the interior colors for our house.. now it is time to get painting and staining (Thanks to House of Cards)
5) Heard about a medical study that proves that working out 30 minutes a day can greatly slow the aging process. I am 29 minutes short so far today.
 
1. I like having cereal for dinner.
2. My son made me a table as a welding project.
3. The snow melted. Now my yard is a swamp.
4. Traffic was heavy and it took 90 minutes to drive home from work.
5. I'm ready for late Spring.

3. Looking at the long range forcast, there is no end to winter (and not just winter but brutal winter) in sight

  1. I am happy it's Friday and will be a quiet day in the office.
  2. I have a bunch of HUD regs to comb through today. Never fun.
  3. I need to buy a suit over the weekend, Talbots has a good discount going right now so I will try there.
  4. Need to get my hair did.
  5. Flying to ATL and back on Wednesday 8-!
 
1. The office is on lock down thanks to a crazy old fool and a warning shot. :not:
2. The doorbell rang; it must be my file review.
3. I'm wearing cowboy boots today.
4. Toilet paper is a good substitute for Kleenex, but not in a busy office.

1. Thermostat was set at 65 all night, but the temp was only 59 when I got up at 5am.
2. The youngest is teething and did not sleep well last night.
3. I am thinking of giving into my wife's desire to move to a warm state this summer or fall.
4. The applicant did not show up to last nights meeting. The board was not pleased.
5. Dr. said that my blood pressure was not high enough to worry about!

1. Just noticed the "sell by" date on a cheesecake sampler is 2/30/14. :r:
2. Good thing the library is next to the government center.
3. Good thing I had planned to go to the library today when it opened at 9.
4. So I could deliver the work and personal cell phones RJ forgot to take to work.
5. Friday Fest downtown tonight!
 
1. It's been years since I've worked with an administrative assistant who is capable of independent thought.
2. Makes you appreciate a truly competent admin. Worth their weight in gold.
3. The amount of waste at HUD is ridiculous. They could cut their budget by 25% and not even feel it if they were honest about it.
4. I miss when the staff would go out after planning commission meetings and close down the bar and still be at work the next morning on time. Ah the good old days.
5. Got my tickets today for the last of four Jimmy Buffett concerts I'll be enjoying this summer. Tailgating at its finest/craziest.
 
1. It's astounding how quickly I can go from "OMG, I have so much to do!" to "OMG, I'm so bored" in a single week. :r:
2. Or from "I can't possibly go after another project" to "Uh-oh, am I going to have any billable work next month?"
3. The afternoon sun shining in my window is tempting me to quit work early (and use this fun emoticon). :smirk:

4. I hope beach_bum' s land didn't get hit hard with ice & power outs
5. MLS starts this weekend which means more soccer on TV

3) We think our youngest (5 Months) might be teething already

5) Looks like I am cooking dinner tonight
 
1) House we are selling has an inspection tomorrow
2) Spent 9 hours yesterday and another 18 last weekend working on the dang place
3) Staying tonight and tomorrow in a hotel with the kids (first night) and then wife and kids (second night). Wife needs some room and space to finish some work at home. Plus, it’ll be fun.
4) Sunday all these obligations are over and I can go for a bike ride (first in a few weeks, save for commuting)
5) Installing a storm door was harder than it looked.
 
1. Today was sunny and in the 50's, and was all field work all day.
2. Except for the hour that I rj'd.
3. The latest bacon thread left me feeling hungry.
4. The warm sun is setting, but will be around later in the day in 2 days.
5. Like planit said, I hope that beach bum's land is ice-free.
 
1. Today was not as freewheeling as I had hoped it to be.
2. Had to deliver bad news to a client.
3. Someone got their walking papers today. Had to prep my boss on this one. She did good.
4. Two closings going on now, I want to rip my hair out.

Spring is about mill around here today. I'll tell her to go where Maister lives, for I prefer Winter.

4. There's likely to be some more flurries, but I predict we will get no more major accumulation of snow this spring. Not more than an inch or two

1. Last night's garage door opener install was a success.
2. Thinking of a lemon-garlic butter sauce for the fish tonight
3. Finalized the cut lists for my kitchen cabinet project, so I am picking up a new blade tonight and cutting starts tomorrow.
4. The nanny is taking the boys to the lego exhibit at the public museum today... I want to go too!
5. I have so much I need to complete in the next 6 to 7 months.... that it is scary.

2. Gave my boss a pep talk. She appreciated it. See, I am not so bad after all.
3. It's quiet here today.
4. I need some AAA batteries, all we have are AAs.

3. And his poor parents are exhausted.
3. Although crappy parts of life suck when you are living through them, it's nice down the road when it enables you to empathize with and help someone else going through a similar situation.

You say 'random' but do you truly mean random? If so, then I'd second a motion for creepy.

What if I said I was going to a grocery store and was going to buy and eat random food. You know, put a blindfold on and feel your way to an aisle and pick up the first item you touch and eat it no matter what it is.....[/blindfold] "Oh look - salt! Mmm- mmm!"

By random I mean I don't know the people. The properties I am selecting are properties we like, and would like to buy. Finding the right location / price / size that is actually for sale has been impossible......

It is actually how my parents sold their last house. A neighboring property (same floor plan) had sold, and one of the people interested decided to have their Realtor call and see if anyone else in the development would be interested in selling. My parents said that they would entertain the idea, the people did a tour, and then made an offer.

It was actually of the height of the market too, so my parents used the inflated equity to downsize.
