My oldest received his class ring last week. It is nice, but he has no intention to wear it. But then again, my wife and I donā€™t wear ours either.

However, a broker that I know always wears his college class ring because he graduated from an ivy league school and wants people to recognize it.

What are your thoughts? Are class rings still relevant today or have they ever been relevant?

Never been relevant. I believed it was an unnecessary accessory when I was 18 and still believe the same today.

Both my high school & college rings are in the bedside table drawer.

The Girl did not want to purchase either high school or college ring.
 
I guess I could purchase a high school, college, and Navy ring, but why bother. The only thing I wear sometimes is my masonic ring.
 
I have them from HS and college. Have never worn them but my mom offered to buy me both and it's kind of a nice souvenir to have.

I never bothered getting mine, in either high school or college.
 
Had one, wore it for a few years. No idea what happened to it.
 
I'm sure I have mine somewhere, no clue where. Not planning on wearing it anyways.
