Found this neat 1997 Ford Escort 5sp wagon for sale near me.

This is very intriguing to me because if the ~68,000 miles are true and not 'bad' miles, this could be a great buy.

I've been wanting a small wagon recently and this is perfect.

Plus, I know these pretty well since I had a (same Gen) 1999 Escort wagon 5sp manual for 1.5 years in 2001-2002.

For $3,895 and effectively down the road from me I feel like I need to check it out at least.

I had a 95 wagon (pre facelift). That one looks awesome.

You have to feel good that he called you instead of a friend or someone else.

That was a win for sure. I want to be the guy he calls if something goes down, or maybe he has a couple beers and needs a ride.
