A daily word game sponsored by the New York Times. While I am a subscriber I think it is open to everyone.
You get six chances to spell a five letter word. I know lots of wordlers in my area.

It was invented by some word nerd for the benefit of his girlfriend I believe? And then he started offering out on the internet, then NYT paid him enough money for it that he no longer needs to work.

I do Wordle, Connections and Strands daily. I used to do Tiles too but the NYT moved that behind their paywall.

I play it in phases--every day for a few weeks (or months), then taper off, then the cycle repeats. Right now, it's in the off cycle.

I am a hard core one I guess. Now riding a wave at 91 percent.
I use the same opening and have a method. But I never "join" or "log in" etc.

Good SOP. You definitely don't want "Big Game" owning your info. This is how they get us.

My opening word is always "SHART." 97% wins with it!

My opening two words contain all six vowels. If I have a clue after Word 1 I may chase rabbits, but I typically use both words.

Always open with alien...after that is pouch. All vowels gone in two moves. Only the Russians use more consonants than we do.
