I read a report about how more people are opting for smaller engagements vs massive crowds for new years. They noted this shift began around COVID and the trends continue. Sure the big events continue to grow, but at a slower pace than the smaller activities like banquets, balls, and such.

Personally, I have no interest in the big events... in fact most of the time I will sit at home with the kids to watch the ball drop. Wife normally goes to bed around 10 that night. I don't anticipate this year being any different.

What about you? What are your plans for New Years?

ZZZZZZ.

NYE is my least favorite holiday, and, since the wife has to work at 6 a.m. the next morning, we are asleep long before Ryan starts the countdown. We do sometimes drop in on the party at our HOA clubhouse down the street for a while.
