[theme song and audience applause] Hello and welcome to The Inquisition, the show where people from the studio audience get grilled. Our guest this week is a volunteer from New England; everybody let's please welcome luckless pedestrian [audience applause]
So LP, I'll ask the first few questions and then we'll open up the floor to our studio audience to put their own questions to you.
- you know, you've been dishing it out in spades to other folks on their Inquisitions for the past several weeks, do you think any of them have been waiting for an opportunity to "get you back" now that you're on the hot seat?
- how/when did you acquire the moniker "Cyburbia's den mother"?
- we understand you have siblings, where do you fall in the birth order?
- tell us a brief anecdote that illustrates what an bratty/evil/irresponsible sister you were
- you have several Cyburbian accomplishments to your credit, but are perhaps best known for coining the phrase "why do you hate America"? where did the inspiration for that phrase originally come from?
- which attribute do you feel more accurately describes you: innovative or dependable?

I know many will be asking me about my melons, yes...
I have no idea how the whole den mother thing got started - maybe Raf or TOFB?
I am the youngest in my family and am I ever!
I told on my siblings if they looked at me funny - I was pretty spoiled that way - but my brother used to lose me almost all day - the old come home for lunch and watch your sister thing was meet me here at lunch and don't get lost or get in a car with anyone...
The Patriot Act - when that was going into Congress, that was the type of "are you still drinking" response people were gettign for quesiton the contents of the act - we went a little crazy imho
I think I am a dependable friend which always saves me

1. I like being able to come in clear out the rif-raf (not you Raf, dear...) here and there but then again, I can instigate it when bored so I am a self-contradiciton at times
2. I like it boiled after buying it off the dock - my hubby does it the best - not overdone - just butter - and yeah I eat everything (but the green stuff or the eggs)
3. I hate what America is doing to ourselves
4. I am trying to pretend it didn't happen but then know that the Coach knows all and should not be quesitoned

Formula 1 or Nascar?
what did you do for the 4th of July?
thread in Cyburbia you stay away from
what other sites do you go to when you are not here?

Professionally? yes.... Personally? no, not since high school
Formula 1 - yes, I am a snob - I'd love to go to Monaco for the ultimate race experience - only seen it in Montreal
I hung out downeast - parade, seafood festival, swim in a pnd, then out to dinner at a waterfront restaurant with a good view of the fireworks - it was fun
I don't look at the dating thread - I have been married for 26 years so I am pretty clueless and I don't pay too much attention to the political thread as it likely would become more a time suck than it already is
Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn

You'll love Monaco, I was 5 when my dad was stationed in Germany and we went. I had my toy Andretti car for years.

Back to the questions...

Star Wars or Star Trek
Kirk or Picard
What do you think about the new Superman movie?

What's your favorite color?
Who put the bop in the bop shoo bop shoo bop?

believe it or not, I have not been looking forward to the sci fi question because I love them both so much! I want to be Janeway in my next life, of course...
Picard (Janeway, actually)
I have not seen it -

What's your favorite color?
Who put the bop in the bop shoo bop shoo bop?

I would say green
My love for Cyndi Lauper ended pretty quickly - I just felt like she got too obnoxious as we went into the 90's

How often do your drink Alagash beer?
Does Maine have a moose problem?
Do you go to Canda much?

Not too often - more of a gin or wine person
not a problem, unless you hit one - it's like hitting a brick wall
not as often as I like - I really want to go to Halifax, PEI and that whole region
when we get visitors, we get lobster
luckless pedestrian is a line from the Steely Dan song "Don't Take Me Alive" - basicaly the person likely got accidently shot in a bad scene - I am a rabid Steely Dan fan
oh yikes, that's not a good soup mix, so I may pretend I didn't see it

How did you some up with your name? Did you get hit by a car once while crossing the street?

What is your favorite time of the year in Maine?

Have you ever flown to San Diego or LA? How long of a flight would that be? I mean, that's literally across the entire continental US.

Have you ever driven cross country?

How did you end up in Maine, anyway? Were you born there? For the job?

Do any of the fishermen still wear the yellow raincoat and hat like the Gorton's guy?

If you could be any kind of fruit, what kind would you be and why?

Other than you and lobstah, why should I visit Maine?

Other than the damn cold, why should I avoid Maine?

Have you ever gone to a ship launching in Bath?

this reminds me of my TQM training days when I worked in the north shroe of Massachusetts -good concept and worked on a few projects there in house actually - but, in the end (dont' say at the end of the day, stop) someone has to be responsible and someone is in charge - it's not military like, it just is, imho
I haven't ever been mistaken for a guy (see melon comments)
I wouldn't say I have one favorite fictional author
I may be drunk, Miss, but in the morning I will be sober and you will still be ugly.

only people who migrated to Maine from the north Cambridge or the western suburbs of Boston
lately, yes, that is my theme saying

The Cure - Just Like Heaven; Seven Seas - Echo and the Bunnymen
chocolate cake (I make an awesome chocolate cake - just use the one on the back of the Hershey's box, but substitute boiling coffee for the boiling water)
anything by REM or Natalie Merchant because they are one toned wonders and I am tone deaf
Jon Stewart
Pit
St Sebastian (he was pretty badass) and St Elizabeth of Hungary becasue she got stuff done
chicken soup for my soul is helping out a friend in dire need and/or playing with my kids

see above - it's a Steely Dan line -
Maine is best in September - still nice out, no crowds - but August is great too even with the crowds - and actually the dead low winter of February is really gorgeous and now that I'm inland, it's even more so - so yeah...
I have not driven cross country - to get to the left coast or Colorado, or Minnesota, I fly - the longest car ride was Boston to Cleveland which was painful - I would actually like to drive cross country, but taking a few months to do it - I also drove a large piece of the PCH if that counts for anything
I was born in Syracuse NY, moved to the Boston area after graduating college (86) then up to Maine (for the job and to take a break from the suburban thing) in 2002
if it's raining, yes
a plum becasue secretly (not anymore), I think they are sexy

Other than you and lobstah, why should I visit Maine?

Other than the damn cold, why should I avoid Maine?

Maine is very quirky - you can sit next to a guy at a coffee shop who looks like he just came out from under a rock and he's a multi-gazillionaire inventor - the layers of stories are very cool - but for the tourist - it's really just a pretty place with a lot of hidden gems to find

both scenery and people, as well as oddities found in museums and general stores - I give a great list of stuff

tour bus lore - they make $%^& up on some of the tour buses - and some people are just mean @$$%^&*$

nope but I used to get to go on cruise ships out of Miami before they were launched - that was fun

Do you use 'wicked' to describe good/bad things?
Do you know what a bubbler is?
What is your favorite Frappe?
Do you know what a 'packie' is?
Ever been to Sanford/Springvale?
Ever go swimming along the Rocky Coast of Maine?
Favorite LL Bean story?
Can you name the four US Commonwealths off the top of your head? (No googling...)

- which best describes you: A) quick on the draw slow on the trigger B) quick on the draw quick on the trigger C) slow on the draw quick on the trigger D) slow on the draw slow on the trigger?

[clears throat]

- on a scale of 1 to 10 rate your own skill/knowlege level in the following areas:
home improvement projects
cooking
pop culture trivia
gardening
automotive
interpersonal communication
geometry
dancing
general athleticism
fashion sensibility
photography
art history
driving (an automobile, that is)

yes but I used that word growing up in Syracuse NY too so not sure that is only in Maine?

yes though I had to learn it - it was a fountain in syracuse

vanilla - and there's ice cream in it, a milk shake does not

get my coffee brandy there (actually, no, that stuff is horrific but it's the drink of choice for Maine alcoholics)

driven through yes

yes usually in August, sometimes in July if it's wicked hot - my kids start going in during the April break when we fly kites on the beach; they are not human

I sent 10 year old boots there once for them to fix the hole and they sent me a new pair

I did not google, honest: Massachusetts (I indirectly correct people when they say state by repeating back the words the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in conversation so good call that I would pick up on this - when you go to court, they exclaim "God Save the Commonwealth!!!" at the beginning of the trial, no $%^&), Virginia, Pennsylvania and I don't know the 4th

[clears throat]

- on a scale of 1 to 10 rate your own skill/knowlege level in the following areas:
home improvement projects 1
cooking 7 - I am a decent cook, can make a nice meal
pop culture trivia 6 above average
gardening 1 - I married a landscape architect, 'nuff said
automotive 2 - my hubby is a gear head so I know the make and model of my car and know when something is wrong but that's itinterpersonal communication 7 - not higher because I do get misunderstood and haven't figured that out yet
geometry 9 - aced the NYS regents
dancing 5 - I'm about as white suburban as you can get - I took Irish step dancing, 'nuff said
general athleticism now? 2 - I can bike 25 miles but as a kid, I played sports so 7, was not the star but well liked and coaches liked my style, played by the rules and had a blast
fashion sensibility 8 - being short and heavy means I have to pay close attention to what I am wearing
photography 6 - I have friends who are amazing so I know what to look for but I am not a pro
art history 6 above average knowledge but not as good as I'd like
driving (an automobile, that is) 8 - I am actually a good driver

oh sorry I missed that important question, wait, I need some water...

I am quick on the draw and slow on the trigger - my family say I have the patience of Job

see above on the scale thingy

Ever been skinny dipping? If so, where?
Ever gone swimming fully clothed?
Ever placed a personal ad?
Do you like pina coladas?
How about getting caught in the rain?
I know you're into yoga.
How do you feel about champagne?
Have you ever made love at midnight in the dunes of the Cape?

ear worm alert!

I have skinny dipped yes - in college - random pools in the suburbs of Syracuse - pool hopping shenanigans
when I was in middle school, pool parties were the last rites of June to end the school year - the ritual was when my Mom dropped me off that I would immediately get picked up and thrown in the pool and then the party started
no personal ads
pina coladas only on my honeymoon in Barbados
caught in the rain only good in the summer
I wish I was more into yoga
love champagne - Aperol spritzers, Brazilian sangria both call for champagne (Prosecco)
yes, but it was on the north shore...

Was there a moment when you knew you were going to marry your husband, and if so what was it?

Also, what's the best part (if any) of a parade?

Do you have a favorite picnic spot/memory?

Favorite car you ever owned?

I think when we dated a few times I knew it was serious - but I didn't feel it when I met him, just thought he was a nice guy so it kind of grew

the marching bands

my parents used to pack a pincic dinner a lot in the summer and go to area state parks - it was so much fun - us kids would take off to play while my parents sat and chatted and grilled our dinners - favorite one was Clark Reservation (http://nysparks.com/parks/126/details.aspx)

best car was our 86 Subary hatchback - I actually got weepy when we traded it in for a wait for it, a Subaru Legacy wagon - I didn't feel ready for a real car

I saw the steely dan thing.. but what makes you refer to yourself as a pedestrian?

Why planning?

How many stories was your childhood home?

What gets you out of bed every morning?

Are you a morning person or a night owl?

What are your thoughts on genetic screening of embryos?

Most expensive traffic violation?

Have you ever dyed your hair a crazy colour?

What do you think of Canada?

Can you dive?

What's the longest flight you've been on?

Have you ever won anything?

Do you let life unfold as it may, or try to control the direction it takes?

What do you think of RJ?

Do you have a favourite shirt? If so, what does it look like?

Do you own a bicycle? If so, how often do you use it?

Have you ever been on a motorcycle?

What about a Jetski/Seadoo?

Do you prefer to swim in lakes, pools or oceans?

Do you regret anything this week?

Worst job you've ever had?

Do you have any pets? Have you had pets in the past?

Have you ever found money? How much?

What is your favourite meal to eat?

I am also tone deaf!
Do you like to sing despite the tone deafness?

You knew it was serious after "dating a few times"?! Really?!

how many times were you dropped as a baby?
when is the last time you randomly hugged someone in real time?
what is your story from the counter for today?
if you were stuck for forever on a desert island and could bring a book and one cd, what would you bring?
why are you so awesome?

have you ever dropped your kids ?

do you listen to Pandora - what stations have you created
if you do not listen to Pandora, are you a radio person, i-whatever, or maybe a cd/cassette/8 track kind of guy?

caramel or hot fudge sauce?
have you used the word "font" in a sentence today?
describe your regional accent to us
what hair products do you use?

If we're recycling LP Q's I'd like to ask: Would you be offended if I asked you about mounting a Mountie?

Hey!! That was my question! :)

Go ahead, LP, with your thoughts on mounting Mounties.

OOOOOOOOOOPS I should have checked. I get you, LP and Midori mixed up all the time :-$ Some sort of name dyslexia, I'll tell ya!

LP, have you ever experienced vertigo?

Favorite brand of gin and preferred method of drinking it?

How do you cope with working on one side of the state while living on the other?

I saw the steely dan thing.. but what makes you refer to yourself as a pedestrian? I just loved the line becasue you know what it means in the context of the song - Donald Fagen and Walter BEcker can create an image so well with just 2 words!
Why planning? I watched my Mom fight the sale of an elementary school - she was trying to convince them that the lower enrollemtn was temporary that as she and others aged and died, new families would come in - she wanted them to lease it and guess what, fast forward 20 years and they had to build a new school, buy land, the whole bit as they had sold the school - so that and I was not doing well as a science major drew me in...
How many stories was your childhood home? it was a ranch with the stereotypical remodeled basement (walkout)

What gets you out of bed every morning? knowing I need to get to work on time

Are you a morning person or a night owl? I was always a morning person but when I moved and now live alone, I stay up to 11 or 12 and have a hard time waking up - yuck

What are your thoughts on genetic screening of embryos? It freaks me out
Most expensive traffic violation? $285 - speeding ticket in Maine about 8 years ago - my second one ever in my life - it sucked

Have you ever dyed your hair a crazy colour? yes I tried one of those deeper red shades and it was gross - I donned a hat and went to the drugstore to get a color removal kit - I do get highlights and now a little more to cover the grey - when I was in college, my Mom dyed my hair blonde, like yellow blonde in response to a dare and I kept it until I moved to Boston - my hair is normally a mousy dark brown, now with grey

What do you think of Canada? I love it - we used to go to Montreal a couple times of year when the dollar was stronger - I would live there in a minute! I really want to take a vacation and see more! I like to watch CBC for my world news, much better - CNN irritates me

Can you dive? just off a diving board (and a high one to boot) - was on a team when I was a kid - but no, not the diving you speak - I have horrible plumbing in my sinuses and such so I am scared to do it
What's the longest flight you've been on? nonstop NY to Tokyo in 2001 - I had only been on the over-the-pond run to London or to the one to LA which are both 6 hours so I remember getting to the 6 hour point on that flight and saying to my husband, okay I'm done, I want to get off now and he laughed and handed me a Tylenol PM and said You aren't even halfway there!
Have you ever won anything? a gym bag

Do you let life unfold as it may, or try to control the direction it takes? It depends - currently it's spinning out of control but someitmes I think it's always like that

What do you think of RJ? RJ is an awesome person - if you are lucky enough for him to consider you a friend, then you truly are very lucky

Do you have a favourite shirt? If so, what does it look like? I love to wear Title 9 wispy shirts becasue for a few minutes, I think I'm cool

Do you own a bicycle? If so, how often do you use it? I have a Trek and am training for a 25 miler in September

Have you ever been on a motorcycle? no

What about a Jetski/Seadoo? yes in college for the jetski - we had snowmobiles in the neighborhood that I used to ride in, fun - one landed on me but there was so much snow on the ground, I got somehow cushioned
Do you prefer to swim in lakes, pools or oceans? I love them all - I am a water person - lifeguarded as a kid
Do you regret anything this week? yes, I regret not getting more done yesterday but i was beat

Worst job you've ever had? I've been lucky, really - my jobs in college and high school were good - lifeguard, caddy, selling shoes to unsuspecting men and wealthy ladies - after college it was all good too, though my last gig wasn't great but yeah...
Do you have any pets? Have you had pets in the past? no pets ever and I think I am the only one on the planet to say that

Have you ever found money? How much? I found a 20 once
What is your favourite meal to eat? lobster, for real

I am also tone deaf!
Do you like to sing despite the tone deafness? yes, to the dismay of my children

You knew it was serious after "dating a few times"?! Really?! yes! He knew when he met me but I took a little longer

see above

Have you ever flown to San Diego or LA? How long of a flight would that be? I mean, that's literally across the entire continental US.

Boston to LA or SFO is about 6 hours - taken both a couple of times

how many times were you dropped as a baby?

not sure

when is the last time you randomly hugged someone in real time?

I do it to my kids and hubby all the time, whether they like it or not

what is your story from the counter for today?

yesterday the guy that works at the counter said someone came to see me for my 10 AM meeting so I missed it as I was out - the guy had the wrong date but this guy basically said I blew off a meeitng in front of 3 sets of customers - love it

if you were stuck for forever on a desert island and could bring a book and one cd, what would you bring?

likely the Bible, not necessarily for religious reasons but more because there are endless stories and things to think about - one CD? AJa, Steely Dan

why are you so awesome?

we are all awesome

have you ever dropped your kids ?

My eldest could fall over standing still becasue she had ear issues so we didn't need to drop her - my second just wanted to be held all the time in a death grip so no opportunity and my third threw himself off beds and such on purpose literally since he was a few weeks old

do you listen to Pandora - what stations have you created

I have Steely Dan, brasil 66 station, bossa nova, fleetwood mac, the delfonics, REM, cure, Marlena Shaw, natalie merchant, mark knopfler, steely dan, bittersweet, little talks, Zero 7, ARS, Luna and Dave Brubeck - then I hit shuffle...

if you do not listen to Pandora, are you a radio person, i-whatever, or maybe a cd/cassette/8 track kind of guy? radio

tell us the typical evening routine at your house after a day at work for you

if I don't have a meeting, I take a walk, then do a chore, maybe eat a little something, hang on the porch with a drink, a cigar sometimes...often a call with a friend or hubby

what should I have for diner tonight before my 7 PM meeting with the school board on a building brownfield remediation grant?

pizza

if your wife says "do I look fat in this", what is your response on a any given day?

"you look great" is always a good answer

what is the biggest misconception folks back east think of life in Utah?

don't know

when you are not eating bacon, what else would you consider a favorite food?

watermelon

and the Cyburbian round:

•your favorite post of the day

there are so many - I choose them becasue they make me literally laugh out loud at my desk

•your favorite sock puppet

I liked the Macy's dude

•your favorite poll

not sure

•your favorite man card revocation

the one

•favorite emoticon

:screw::balloon::santa: becasue they can mean so many things

Hall & Oates or England Dan & John Ford Coley?

hall and Oates - great rhythm section

caramel or hot fudge sauce?

if it's well made, hot fudge otherwise caramel out of a jar works great

have you used the word "font" in a sentence today?

yesterday

describe your regional accent to us

it's a funny mix of a flat a swallowed word from Syracuse, with a Boston hit on the end - people think I am from Philly, not sure why - if I am nervous, my Syracuse accent comes out

what hair products do you use?

I have this Egyptian oil I put on my hair when I have my act together getting ready - my hair can be dry and frizzy

If we're recycling LP Q's I'd like to ask: Would you be offended if I asked you about mounting a Mountie?

never met a Mountie I wouldn't Mount if I was single :a:

LP, have you ever experienced vertigo?

Yes - I went to Aspen/Denver for a conference and while I was there, I was surprisingly fine, considering I live at sea level - it was when I got back, the world would randomly tip to the side and I would grab hold of something so I wouldn't fall - - it was hilarious at a meeting, grabbing the desk at random - lasted 2 weeks, went to massage therapy to get rid of it

Sergent Preston or Dudley Do-Right?

neither - it's the moustache that gets me - uh uh, no way :-x

Favorite brand of gin and preferred method of drinking it?

How do you cope with working on one side of the state while living on the other?

in a twist martini (I don't like olives) - Plymouth
in a gimlet - Hendrick's
gin and tonic - beefeater but I often get cheaper brands for this
Brazilian sangria or other ginny hyper mixed drinks - Gordon's - don't waste the good stuff with a mix

someweeks I am just fine, other weeks, I am sad, other weeks I am resentful - this week I am just tired and a little sad - you do what you have to - but yes, I need to make a change in the next month to figure out my life and my kids

 :D :8:

Kindly list the best part(s) of working "away"
and the worst one(s)

it's nice to not have to worry about picking up the kids after work and dinner and such but it's hard waking up alone and leaving work to be alone - some days I feel freed, other days, pathetic

LP, do you think the Vikings ever made it to Maine?

Did you ever go blueberry picking?
-If so, what was it like? Did you eat the blueberries afterwards?

What is the Wadsworth-Longfellow House like?

Do you think that Maine's State Flower should be changed to something with soft petals?

Were you ever invited to the Bush Family Estate?

Re: The Pacific Lobster., which only has one claw:
- Do you sorta "look down" on it... or feel sorry for it? Any other feelings about the critter?

Finally...
What do you know about the Maine Coon cat that most of us would not know?:)

- What types of people do you look up to?

- what types of people annoy you most?

- is there anything about you that is both a curse and a blessing? [/channeling Monk]

As someone that visits Maine all the time (gonna be spending the week at Papoose, on vacation, all next week in fact)...one thing I've never understood...and I figured a Mainer might be able to explain...

What is the big deal with fiddleheads? People actually eat those things?

- Toilet Paper - over or under?
- Streaking - Cool, or trying too hard?
- If I gave you a million dollars that had to be spent in the mall what would you come out with?
- Why do you think Maine isn't as popular as Colorado even though it is just as beautiful?
- LL Bean or J Crew?
- Can you eat a whole banana / apple / nectarine in one sitting?
- Ever tried a challenge? (Cinnamon / gallon of milk / etc.)

Have you ever heard anyone say "Remember the Maine!"?

If the rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain, where does the rain in Maine fall?

Who was Kenne and did he drink port while in his bunk?

Maine seems like dreamer's country to me. Do you find yourself inspired by places, and if so, which ones?

The Vikings don't typically play the Patriot's - no really - yes I had heard they were in the Grand Lakes Stream area - it would make sense and the Maine coon cat is a cousin of the Viking cat (which I did cheat and google becasue I couldn't remember)

I go blueberry picking every year - there's a great hiding spot in Acadia National Park I go to - will not reveal my location - I also bring a ziploc bag whenever I hike a moutnain becasue usually, right before the tree line, there's some great blueberry picking - I either make pie or use them in cereal or muffins or over ice cream

never been there but I should go

no they shouldn't change it - it works

never been to Kennebunkport at all so no

yes, I am pretty snobby about Northern Atlantic lobster - Canada, okay, but not Pacific ocean

the coon cat being a relative of Vikings and Norwegian ancient cats is pretty cool

I look up to people who seem content with their world without being simple and ignorant

overly self centered people that don't see it in themselves

easily distracted a curse and a blessing

hey, where are you all going?

I love fiddleheads - they are great sauteed in garlic and oil - yeah, they rock

toilet paper being replenished is such a rarity in my household by anyone that when it happens on its own I am so happy I don't care if it's over or under

streaking is so 70's so to me it's badly dated, not retro

furniture

I wouldn't say Colorado is more popular - I never "got" the Colorado thing until I went there on a business trip and stood on one of the scenic roads' pull offs and thought "okay, I get it" - it's just different - the scale of Colorado is so immense you can't take it in, Maine has a warm cozy feel, even hiking with expansive views, it's glorious without the vertigo, and with a solid expanse of open ocean with the rest of an outer island in your view, so you never feel like a world without end or in another world (Bryce) - it's a different experience

when I was thinner, I would have said J Crew but now it's not even LL Bean, I am a Boden USA girly or JJill (hope we can still be friends)

yes

never did an eating challenge

haha no
okay: the rain in Spain falls mainly in the plain, the rain in Maine falls until you go insane
don't know Kenne?

Yes, William Carlos Williams - likely my favorite is this one: http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/asphodel-that-greeny-flower-2/

But as a child, and I can still do it, I memorized this one:

Animal Crackers

Animal crackers and cocoa to drink,
That is the finest of suppers I think;
When I'm grown up and can have what I please
I think I shall always insist upon these.
What do YOU choose when you're offered a treat?
When Mother says, 'What would you like best to eat?'
Is it waffles and syrup, or cinnamon toast?
It's cocoa and animals that I love most!

The kitchen's the cosiest place that I know;
The kettle is singing, the stove is aglow,
And there in the twilight, how jolly to see
The cocoa and animals waiting for me.

Daddy and Mother dine later in state,
With Mary to cook for them, Susan to wait;
But they don't have nearly as much fun as I
Who eat in the kitchen with Nurse standing by;
And Daddy once said, he would like to be me
Having cocoa and animals once more for tea.

I have great spots in Acadia and now here in the lakes region i found a little known park i go to

hey, where are you all going?

My inlaws have a place on Papoose Pond in Waterford. We typically spend weekends up there every few weeks, and take 1 week of vacation there as well. I don't think it's very far from where you work.

This is what I look forward to when I head up there... :D

And fiddleheads still look like weeds to me. I'll pass, thanks. ;)

oh yeah, that's only 25 minutes away - you'll have to take the family to the drive in movies here - definitely would love to say hello!

Thanks for the tip! Will have to take the kids to see Despicable Me 2 at the drive in next week. :)

Some questions for your tranquil evening, LP.

Have you ever taken a Rorshach (sp?) test? If you did, were you surprised by the results?

Can you conceive of a time or circumstance in which you would not be a part of Cyburbia? If you can, can you share? No pressure, I actually think about that question sometimes and in my book it's pretty personal....

When was the last time you received flowers and what was the occasion. Elaborate.

Are you planning to buy tickets to the Boy Band Revival featuring Raf, Hink, and btrage? Which one is the dreamy one, the serious talent, and the lovable rake? :)

Have you ever knocked on a door or rung a doorbell after the hour of 1:30 a.m.? If so, what was the situation?

What do you think of RJ? RJ is an awesome person - if you are lucky enough for him to consider you a friend, then you truly are very lucky

[ot] Stop your flirting, patronizing, and melon comments. It won't work. ;) [/ot]

I have taken that test but I can't remember how I scored

I have taken breaks from Cyburbia here and there and of course for Lent but no, I can't imagine exiting for good at this point - too many real time friends have been made through here - even RJ

I did get flowers for my 25th anniversary last year from my husband and I have received flowers from town attorneys when they feel bad for me (which sounds pathetic)

I would totally go see the boy band revival and they fit the description approprately

ringing doorbells was a rite of passage in middle school for certain - late night ones were always a part of slumber parties whereby we'd sneak out of the house in the middle of the night in our pj's and go have fun...my suburban upbringing was pretty awesome and mildly delinquent
