Land of Sky Regional Council is recruiting experienced, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Project Managers to support long-term disaster recovery across Western North Carolina. These roles focus on project management and grant development for recovery funding streams such as CDBG-Disaster Recovery, USDA, EDA, and the NC Department of Environmental Quality, funded through a Cooperative Agreement with USDA Rural Development.

• Lead high-impact projects that help communities connect to critical recovery resources
• Write and manage competitive grants across multiple jurisdictions and partners
• Collaborate with local, state, and federal agencies, councils of government, and community stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with specific grant program requirements

Who should apply?

• Individuals with local government experience—including retirees from NC local/state or federal service
• Flexible options available: positions may be structured full-time or part-time

Preference given to candidates with Housing and/or CDBG experience.
