Family 👪 Post pics of your kids, yourself, and your pets - Part II

She recovered fine. the driver stopped and I got his information. Overnight in an emergency vet for observation but no broken bones or serious internal injuries, just some cuts and road rash. I forgot how much they bandaged her hind legs.

After a couple days she discovered that if she ran hard enough into the wall at the corner it would split the cone open and she'd be free. We went through about 6 cones.

This photo of my great grandmother only came to me recently. It was in a box under my mom's old bed which ended up at a brother's house.
Her name was Tallulah Keel. Her dad mustered out of the Confederate Army as a private. He had to sign off a document promising he would never again take up arms against the United States.
This photo is dated 1891 at which point she was 25;yrs old
Somewhere I have a copy of that promise

Early 1950s. L-R GG who passed in 1964, grandmother passed in 2000, mother still alive and born in 1936, grandfather passed in 1995. My grandmother loved chihuahua dogs.

There are fortunately very few pictures of me in my younger days. I was in the military for part of it and we had a rule of no cameras on shore leave. I kind of held onto that rule for most of my 20's.
