I just got out of a staff meeting. My mind wandered a little bit in the meeting |-) and I noticed how BIG :-c everyones nose was....is this some new genetic trend? Will humans have huge schnozzola in the future? Is smell so important that we will eventually loose our eyesight and hearing? Because I gotta tell you, it looks like that part of our face is trying to take over (Including mine.. ;) ..)

The nose never stops growing (or so I've heard)... maybe you just work with a bunch of old farts (and you're an old fart yourself). ;)

I think big noses are cool. I'm envious I don't have one. I wonder if there's plastic surgery for folks who wish they had a bigger nose. I think I'll give my friend Michael a call.....

Noses (or "beaks," as I call them) really give a person's face its character.

I just hope that these guys can custom-fit the product!

When I saw the product "sketch," I must confess that I didn't immediately think of noses.... :-$

Me neither -- I thought you were going to bring up that old saw about nose size equating to other things..... :h:

I can see that perhaps I did not make my poll inclusive enough for all Cyburbians....I'll let a mod decide whether to add that one....ha ha ha... :-D ;-) :)

I am perfectly happy with my vote, thanks.

I inherited my mother's button nose, and her complete inability to smell much of anything. I get tired of explaining my poor sense of smell. On the other hand, if I can smell it, you know it must be a powerful aroma.

Uhmmm... never heard that one. But if that's the case then I'm sending out a giant, "Thank you!" to Mom and Dad for the giant schnoz. ;)

Have heard that too, but I thought it was just for men - noses and ears can become enlarged in old age, and start sprouting hairs... eww

There is no(se) conspiracy. Forget that idea. It was nothing but swamp gas. A weather balloon. Whatever.

I think I have a slightly larger than normal nose. However, I would like to say that I like my nose and I think it has a nice shape.

Now if the rumors are true about the nose growing, and growing, and growing for the rest of my life than I guess in about 30 years I'm in deep snot.

The nose and ears do keep growing, in both men and women, because they are made of cartiledge, not bone. So maybe the impression about folks having "big noses" is sorta due to folks living longer.

[ot] biscuit, supposedly foot size equates as well, which is why you had those ridiculous long, pointy-toed shoes in Europe a few hundred years ago. They are probably both kind of silly ideas. I doubt anyone ever studied the topic scientifically, with measurements and all. And I should stop there :-# , before this devolves into tasteless jokes about designing such a study, post-divorce of course. ;) [/ot]

If that's true what is she going to look like in 30 years?

Oh, it's true. Think about how Madonna's looks have changed. It is subtle but her larger nose makes her a lot less "cute" than when she was 21. Life's a beach and then you die.
