I WFH most days and when I do I usually eat my lunch outside on the front porch if it's nice otherwise I'll sit at the kitchen counter and eat and listen to the BBC Global News Podcast.
Tuesdays like today I am in the office in the morning and almost always drive home at lunch then walk to the same restaurant and sit at the bar and may or may not partake and then walk home for the rest of the day. Unfortunately, I'm in some ESRI training today all day long (and tomorrow... and Thursday ) and need to be in the office where I can have 3 screens open at once so likely no WFH this afternoon.
I eat at my desk mostly. This is kind of due to the break room being cluttered and messy. Sometimes I just need to work, sometimes I play a game on my phone.
I hated working from home, but when I did I would eat on the front porch sometimes.
Regardless, if I take a proper break, it is hard to get back into the rhythm in the afternoon.
Most days I bring lunch (leftovers, sandwich, etc.) and eat it upstairs in the break room, then I sit out in a deck chair on the the third floor patio off the break room and read or just fall asleep. I cannot complain about this new City Hall, it's gorgeous, the view is great, and Sept. and Oct. are the two best months in Utah. This was taken from my seat at lunch last week. I feel like it would be a crime not to take my lunch up there.
